I still do not see where if both the man and the woman are not there then the one who is there is let off the hook. How is that justice for her to be let off the hook?

So, you believe it is correct to punish her if the man got away free?

Judgment? Sin is sin. No way around it, they need to repent, and come to Christ or they will face judgment.

And you need to cut the garbage. Quit acting like you know that they haven't

Yes. I believe we are all accountable for our own sins.

And, I do not believe that just because the man "got away free" here on Earth means that he will not receive Judgment when he dies. The Lord tells us that "Vengeance is mine".

People get away free all the time for their sins here on earth. In the end though, we are all held accoutable.

The problem is your not speaking under the terms of the Old Covenant, but the New. The Old Covenant, which Christ followed to the letter and fulfilled required the death of both man and woman caught in the act of adultery. Unless, your trying to tell me Christ broke the Old Covenant which means he sinned.

I 100% disagree about this idea that Jesus would stand back and let a couple be killed instead of being given the chance to change their ways

A news article is hardly enough "fruit" to be able to tell if they have repented or not. We can see the result of their past actions via baby, we cannot see what their current situation is

FANTASTIC IDEA!

One thing that my sister pointed out:

If the husband met her while she was at a playground getting bullied by other kids.... why doesn't he have the sense to see that maybe she's still one of the kids? huh.gif
Fine, she looks older, but still... that should be an indication of her age.

(not trying to start anything, just saying...)

But yeah, this whole thing is just kind of sick.

Wow. It's amazing that both she and the baby survived. I didn't even know 11 year olds were capable of getting pregnant... She does look older than eleven, though.

But wow.

edit: That sounds like an amazingly quick delivery... o_O Also. [MOD EDIT]

As soon as a girl starts her menstrual cycle, she can have kids. I could gotten pregnant when I was 9.

Right, I've heard of super-early menstrual cycles. But I always thought that someone with such tiny and not-fully-developed... erm, parts, would not be able to give birth to a healthy baby. But I was wrong, apparently..

Anyway, I'm glad she and the kid were all right.

Please forgive me for the namecalling... It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. I apologise.

Well, I think it depends on how developed the girl is. When I was 9, I was just slightly shorter and a bit thinner than I am now. I probably could have had a kid and been fine. But if I was a short, tiny, not fully developed girl, then there would be no way. Some girls just mature way early. They're like...mini-women with little girl brains. o_o

I'm not sure what aspect of that story is the most shocking, the fact that she gave birth at 11, the fact that she was getting married at 11, or the fact that the baby's father is 19.
That would be like my youngest sister giving birth! And my sister is waaay smaller than that girl.
I guess some girls mature earlier than others.
I was kinda disturbed when the girl said "I'm not going to play with toys anymore, I have a new toy" I was like, uh a baby isn't a toy... but alright.
Overall, this is a pretty crazy story.
At least the girl is happy though I guess.
And that baby is really tiny! 5 pounds? that's pretty small.

Haha that's exactly what I was thinking. Like what 15 year old would get bullied on a playground by a kid?

Looks like she was in labor in her wedding though. O_o

That wouldn't be pleasant. I wonder if she was making faces and stuff during the ceremony.

I feel so sorry for that poor child and its mother. Imagine growing up with your mother only 11 years older than you. Freaky.

Too young, and it's terrifying to read about how she's excited to not play with toys anymore because her daughter is her "new toy"

My thoughts exactly...this, ladies and gentlemen, is why pre-teens and teens should not be having babies..or having sex.

Yeah, but that's different. She's not your actual biological mother, so its less weird. Or at least that's my opinion.
