Even though "Allah" means God in Arabic, Malaysia claims that Arabic-speaking Christians cannot refer to the Christian God as Allah. Apparently, it's because the Muslims felt offended that Christians refer to the wrong god as God. I propose The One True God to be registered to become God™ in order to distinguish that Christians worship the real God™, instead of the Islamic God or Allah. |

That is a fair proposition, to use symbols in reference so people will not be riled up over using the general term "God" for the deity they are devoted to. I choose God∞ |

Whilst I agree with your proposal, it doesn't accurately portray the majesty of the Lord. I propose:
!!!!!|+=***GOD***=+|!!!!! |

I don't see what Malaysia is making a big deal about. It's just a matter of language. If they don't like it, make up a different Arabic word or the Christian God, OR we could just call him Jesus!

Jesus for God? So we now have Jesus, Jesus and the Holy Ghost as Trinity? This post has been edited by Sinnerman: Nov 13 2009, 05:39 AM |

I can understand the language in question (Malaysian is very similiar to Indonesian), and thus it is incredibly obvious that the complaints of these Muslims are without merit.
