Even though "Allah" means God in Arabic, Malaysia claims that Arabic-speaking Christians cannot refer to the Christian God as Allah. Apparently, it's because the Muslims felt offended that Christians refer to the wrong god as God. I propose The One True God to be registered to become God™ in order to distinguish that Christians worship the real God™, instead of the Islamic God or Allah.

That is a fair proposition, to use symbols in reference so people will not be riled up over using the general term "God" for the deity they are devoted to.

I choose God∞

Whilst I agree with your proposal, it doesn't accurately portray the majesty of the Lord. I propose:
!!!!!|+=***GOD***=+|!!!!!

I don't see what Malaysia is making a big deal about. It's just a matter of language. If they don't like it, make up a different Arabic word or the Christian God, OR we could just call him Jesus! biggrin.gif

Jesus for God? So we now have Jesus, Jesus and the Holy Ghost as Trinity?

I can understand the language in question (Malaysian is very similiar to Indonesian), and thus it is incredibly obvious that the complaints of these Muslims are without merit.
