Awesome, a band thread! I was a proud band geek in highschool. Played a bunch of percussion instruments, but loved the mallet ones like the xylophone. Ah, I miss those days of going crazy with four mallets and not having to march because our instruments were way too big. xD

Heh... *is the epitome of band geek*
I was section leader, I hung out in the directors' office, I'm continuing it in college, I did every program available to band students... Basically, I spent more time in the band hall or on the field than in my own house.

Yay! I am new and this is the first topic I noticed.
I love band. I'm in 8th grade and I play the flute (best instrument ever!) and our marching season just ended. It was my first year marching....and it was AMAZING. |
