Update: The first official CTF Recommendation has been sent out - I'll be doing one as close to once a week as I can manage, with a different artist every time. For the most part, I'll feature Christian artists, although I can't promise that the occasional instrumental or secular favorite won't sneak in every so often (every band featured will be appropriate for the ages of 13 and above, though). With any luck, you'll find most of them fairly unique, if not outright enjoyable...

But I have to admit that there only one downside to all this - you have to be a part of the CTF LastFM group to receive the recommendation. wink.gif

Enjoy!

For what? tongue.gif

Update:
I spent a few more hours working on our group tonight. We now have official CTF weekly recommendations, a CTF music journal, complete with maiden entry (concerning Angels & Airwaves' Star of Bethlehem and written by yours truly), our first 50 artist connections, a connection to Cornerstone 2008, our first two label connections (Solid State and Tooth & Nail), and our first few country connections (US, Australia, and the UK).
Feel free to give me a shout either here or at the group homepage to let me know if I missed anything, and I'll tack it on there as soon as I get the chance. smile.gif

P.S. Almost forgot - as far as the weekly recommendations go, there is now a thread on our LastFM homepage to toss me recommendations for artists you think should get our pick. If you've got any bands you think deserve to be featured, toss 'em at me, and away we go.

Spread the word, guys - the more, the merrier. smile.gif

Edit: by the way, currently adding to our artist connections. By the time I'm done, we should have upwards of 2-300 available artists for members to browse through if they're looking to expand their (Christian) music horizons.
