wow.. ..Take a look at this and see if your opinion changes about abortion (if your for it). This is so sad! oh yea, this is from Bound4Life! Its long but its way worth your time!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi, I’m Cherish. Well, that’s not my real name…I don’t have one. But for almost as long as I can remember HE’s called me that: Cherish, or Cherished…It’s what He loves to call me. When I first came here I was called: Nameless, Nothing, and Problem, but as soon as I met Him He called me Cherished, He said it was because I was loved, treasured…agape’d. You see, when I was eight months “along” my mother aborted me…I was a “problem,” a “mistake,” and a “catastrophe”. So I never got the thrill of having a name I remember it you know… It hurt… <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> I always wonder what it would’ve been like. I can’t imagine what it would’ve been to have a family, a mother… Would I have had brothers? Sisters? I wonder what my first word would’ve been; I smile when I think about it. Would I have been smart? I bet I would’ve gotten all A’s, and made Mom so proud of me! I bet that I would’ve been happy and…funny! Oh I can just wonder about how it would feel to ride a bike, play jump rope, climb a tree… I wonder if I would’ve blown out all my candles with one breath on my fifth birthday…I bet I would’ve! I wonder what it’s like to finger paint, to smash my fingers into Play-Doh. Would mom have loved me? Would she have kept me if she had seen me…If I had seen her? I wonder if she would’ve loved me if she had held me, touched me, and kissed me. What if I had smiled at her, cuddled to her…would she have still wanted me not to exist? If my tiny new hand had rested on her finger, in her own palm, would she still have let me go? I wish I could’ve known her, played with her, seen her...tell her I loved her. I wish I had the chance. Would Mom and I have been good friends? Would we have talked about boys, painted our toes, and had disagreements? <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> Why didn’t she want me? Maybe it was because she knew I wouldn’t be pretty. I know that she was disappointed, but oh if she only knew how excited I was! I just couldn’t wait to see her! I couldn’t wait to have her hold me…see me and tell me that she did love me… I can only imagine her looking down at my new face and knowing it had all been worth it. I can just dream about her smiling and whispering, “I love you…” into my tiny ear…oh how I longed to tell her! I remember that day so well… I was so excited, I just couldn’t wait! I was almost ready, I could feel it. Then all of a sudden it was time! I started to fight to get out…I was so alive! It was long and hard, but finally I saw light! I know that if I could smile I was! Oh Jesus! I’m almost there! I told my father. Then something that was so sharp and…mean hit my neck. The pain, it hurt so bad…I tried to get away, to get out…if I just got to Mommy, everything would be alright, but something so strong was holding me there. Something else hit the base of my skull. The pain seared through my small body…I knew that this was the end of something that began. No! No! Oh Daddy it hurts! I cried to my father. Oh how much I wanted to see my mommy. It’s alright my child! I know it hurts. It’s almost done my beloved…” He told me… I knew I would never see my Mommy. I felt myself falling, slowly falling away. It hurt so badly. Jesus! I cried…The light that had been so new, so exciting, slowly melted away… Mommy! Mommy, please want me! I sobbed, I knew she didn’t… Then as I wept, there was nothing…just…nothing. I was so empty. So unwanted, abandoned, and unloved…It ached within me. I was nothing…there was nothing…I was so cold and hungry for life. It hurt even more because I knew that it was gone… Oh how I wanted to be loved and wanted…I just wanted life… As I lingered in my dark nothing I felt a warmth flow over me…A light so warm and welcoming enveloped me… He was there… <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> He came to me, wrapped me in his love, spread hope within the walls of my soul… He had come for me, to take me away from my emptiness… I wept for my life that I never lived, I wept for the things I never could do, the gifts He had put in me that I would never get to use… I wept for the mother I never knew but loved… His strong arms comforted me, His loving words filling me… He spoke strength to my weakness, hope to my despair, wholeness to my brokenness, and he filled my empty depths and agape’d my sorrow. He took me to a place so wonderful, so full of life…eternal… In my brokenness when I was embittered, but in His love I was softened. And as I was filled, my heart cried for the mother I never met... As I wept for the pain in her soul, I loved her, hurt for her, and through Him I forgave her... |

Also, I found this:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the happy night, in secret, when no one saw me, Nor I beheld aught, without light or guide, save that which burned in my heart: "St. John" Warriors, my warriors, don’t forget who you are Are you nobles gonna argue amongst the camps or join the Nazirites in their warriors’ dance. Tell me clay pots, is there any treasure inside, warriors you decide. Warriors, my warriors, don’t forget who you are Gideon you better listen to him, only take those that know what they’re getting into You’ve got a trumpet, do you know what it’s for? Stop threshing, don’t hide no more. Son of Man, for this nation you’re a watchman, warn them of the sword if you don’t, blood is on your head, I know you’re weeping and crying but cha heard what my Lord said. Tell me is it burning in your veins, freedom from these false gods you’ve claimed, Aren’t you tired of going to sleep with your stomach crammed full from what the preacher preached? Dry eyes you can’t cry, don’t know to blush as your children cry so weak with what you lust for between your teeth, covenant has no meaning teenagers’ wrists lie open bleeding, this year’s fad is suicide and you’d rather change channels then teach honoring. Warriors, my warriors, don’t forget who you are Gather the tribes, join the clans native gatekeepers put our boundary stones back in our land. There’s warriors with drums and warriors with prayer warriors on their face and they’re changing the air. Warriors, my warriors, don’t forget who you are You’ve got the message on the tablet, tell me are you gonna run or will there be another church split over some rug hey mister Christian have you ever picked up your cross And before you build, did you really count the cost? Will you suffer like the good shepherd did ‘cause all men die but not all live. Warriors, my warriors, don’t forget who you are Addicted to pornography we’ve got eunuchs in the tower Toss Jezebel down, men this is your hour. You watched the weather forecast, pay attention to the time men your priests let the Lord restore your spine. Repent, acknowledge, do what the Lord said wipe the dust off the elders’ head, dry the wailing women’s eyes let the world see the warrior bride. Warriors, my warriors, don’t forget who you are |
I didn't read the latter. It's rather long to read the both of them if you don't have much time and you are busy. I'll try to remember to read it later, if I can. lol (asterisk)sigh(asterisk) I think the letter was heart wrenching.
Abortion is such a sad deal. It is just a way out of dealing with reality and life. It is wrong is so many ways, it is murder for one thing. The way I think of it is as a way out for a young girl to mess up and not have any consiquenses for it. People think that people being killed in 9/11 and such is such a tragidy, they should see that abortion kills just as many babies per day. It is really sickening, and from my point of view, everything that Christ teaches against. I would love to hear your opinion on it. LUv ya all!
My pastor at church was talking about abortion today. He said a major reason that social security and health care and other stuff like that is in trouble is because the kids who would have grown up and started paying SS and medicare taxes are dead due to abortions. That left a void in the system which caused shortages. That just goes to reinforce the fact that every action has consequences. It's sad that people actually resort to abortions...
Hey I hate the idea of abortion but i also believe that before they outlaw abortion they need to get a whole bunch more of good parents to adopt or foster theese children. Because at the ages of 15-17 you can not take care of a baby so it is going to need to be adopted or else the teens are just going to leave it somewhere because they can not take care of it. so i think the goverment needs to put in place a better system of adoption or else we are going to be like all the other countries that have that problem we will have over populated foster kid places and adoption angincies and they will not get the attention they need and then they will not be loved and die or get realy sick (it is a national studie that babies that do not get enough attention will die). So i dont agree in abortion but we do not have the resources to outlaw it yet.
Found it:
She will never see the beauty of a sunrise Nor pick a flower blowing in the wind She will never climb up to sit on daddy's knee Never spend a summer day with her best friend She will never bake cookies with mommy Never know what it's like to be sixteen Never share her love with that special someone Never have the family of her childhood dreams He will never celebrate his first birthday You will never hear him call your name out loud He will never run across a grassy meadow Nor will he be the little boy who makes you proud He will never go fishing with daddy Nor have the joy of buying his first car He will never get to father his own family Or hear his little boy wish upon a star CHORUS: Day by day and one by one we're killing our future By the thousands every day across the land Can you tell me what has happened to America Is there anyone who dares to take a stand We have the blood of little children on our hands But in Heaven God is picking up the pieces Of the countless treasures we have thrown away While slowly He's reshaping and remolding Those precious little helpless lumps of clay So lovingly He holds them in his hands Only God knows just what they could have been |
good point Jesus freak! It would be hard to find enough of those willing to take in children. Abortion, however, i don't think will ever be repealed. I think that there are enough people in the U.S that are in favor of abortion. Another wrong point about abortion that I forgot to mention before is that most people say that it is a woman's choice whether she wants to abort because "it is her body". WHich people are completely mixed up on that subject, it is really God's body and they have no right to it themselves. But those who don't have faith in God can't make any sense of that anyway. Thanx so much for your input!
evolution. if you believe we evolved, than a child is nothing. WE are nothing. we're just a piece of protoplasm that washed up on the beach millions of years ago.
thats why I am so opposed to the evolutionary theory |
