It's not about what's cool or not. It's about what's reasonable or sensible, and half of what has happened over the past few months is seeming less and less reasonable, and more and more open to the things of the world.
It is far from what 1 John demands from us and it is very frustrating.

Yeis, people who are on the opposite end of the spectrum from fundamentalism can love God and be Christians too happy.gif. I suggest loving and respecting them all, yes, even if you can't help feeling like their personal opinions are putting your own in danger/'ruining' your forum. I approve posts which I disagree with all the time (i.e. fundie posts), and it simply does not bother me. It's very humbling sleep.gif.

P.S. This is 'C'TF; not 'TF', not 'OTF', not 'CCTF' or 'FCTF' -CTF, so yes, we still allow fundamental opinions on CTF... so go crazy.

I'm not bothered by fundamentalism. I'm bother by the unregeneracy on the forum paraded and masked under the name of religion when it has no Biblical basis.
There is little to no Christianity on this forum, apart from the title. And I happily stand by that opinion, which is why I now call the forum Open Teen Forums.

Can we call it "Open Adolescent Topics" instead? Because then the abbreviation spells "OAT" and that's just awesome.

You guys. This is Congratulations topic. Can we please get back onto that topic.

Please and Thanks.

No hard feelings but this isn't about name changing of CTF.

I never said you were O_o.

But if you think some of your Christian brothers and sisters just aren't *quite* Christian enough or Biblical enough for your standards, then either love them; respect them and their beliefs, treat their differing opinions as different ideas only and not as differing hearts or anything which might threaten your own beliefs or conservative Christian bubble. Either that, or leave them.

If anyone has any more problems, then either silently leave CTF, or politely ask a member of staff and discuss with them. This minority of CTF who like to go round publicly expressing their bitterness and intolerance to Christians with different denominational/Biblical/theological beliefs is deeply disheartening.

True Christians can very well have beliefs outside of the fundamentalist/conservative belief bubble. As in the rules, these sorts of problems should be bought to staff members in a non off-topic manner. This thread is for congratulations. If you don't have a congratulation, don't post. If you want to PM a staff member to complain about them, do it nicely. We get harassed enough already.

If I have to repeat myself this thread will be temporarily closed.

Thank you for choosing to tell us your views on this just after I was announced a mod, Jake. It's nice to see what your brothers in Christ think of you.

Why is it that because I'm a Calvinist everything has to be that way? I'm not suggesting everyone be Calvinist, I'm suggesting regeneracy.
But I should probably stop to appease Emily.

Well it seems like in order for someone to be "Christian enough" to moderate CTF, they have to be going by what you perceive as a good Christian. So what else am I supposed to think?

Indeed. ...Thank you.

You really cannot please everyone. Seriously, guys, CTF to you is what *you* make it. It's a representation/sample of the world's Christian teens. You don't like it? Go change the world. (Though I'd recommend sorting out respect and politeness before that.)

Now this is strictly a congratulations thread.
