So who else is a "Country Girl", and "Where are the Cowboys?" lol I'm a total fan. My favorite artist is Josh Turner. He rocks. Other than that, though, I love a lot of artists, but if I had to pick three faves, it'd be Josh Turner, Miranda Lambert, and Lonestar. Got to see Lonestar for the first time, this month, and it was amazing! So, c'mon y'all, vote! laugh.gif

You left out Dolly Parton.

She is the only human able to produce country music I find enjoyable.

I grew up listening to country music in the 90s, but I don't listen to it much anymore expect when my roommate does sometimes. I won't say I don't enjoy it.

Before I met my husband I loathed country music. He is a big fan and shared some with me. I voted for Keith, Reba, Rascal Flatts, and other. I would ad Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson and Marina McBride off the top of my head. I do not listen to country music all the time, but country stations are on my saved buttons that I cycle through to in my minivan. (I usually only listen to music while driving.)

Country is okay, it's definitely not my favorite, but I'll listen to it sometimes. When I do listen to it, I like Brad Paisley and Josh Turner is pretty good I guess...

Honestly, I'm more into "classic" country. Besides Brad Paisley's stuff, I don't consider today's country to be "real" country. It's just pop music with a twang. dry.gif

Selected "other" for favorite artist/band because I don't really associate songs with names. Except for Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel"... lulz.

Yep, but not the mainstream new county crap. I like the old stuff like Hank Williams Sr, older Hank Williams Jr, Waylong Jennings, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, etc as well as new not mainstream stuff like Hank Williams III, Joe Buck Yourself, and Those Poor Bastards.

I voted "ew no!" ...and then Taylor Swift. Her music is rock-ish enough to be the exception... I just don't like the twangy stuff. I'm also not sure I'm making sense.
