My youth group was having a bonfire. So on [certain socail website] I sent a message to my friends to remind or invite them.

There was one girl at my church that I've been having negative feelings about for years. This probably isn't right, but I thought she was a critical, self-absorbed prep who couldn't go a day without her cellphone. I sent the message to her, too.

So anyway, a lot of people wanted me to remove them because they'd get a new message very time someone replied. I said "okay" to the people who had treated me well in the past. (Although I would really remove everyone) While I was trying to find out how, the girl sent me this:

" Kaye. I'm not trying to be freaking mean, but like freaking untag me! I'm coming. So can you please freaking untag me now????? I'm sending this seperate message so that I don't bother other people. This whole chain message is annoying the ever living mess outta me. Untag me now, or I'll just remove you as a friend and block you. Kayeee? Thanksss. Bye. "

So the rest of the message went as followed (it may seem boring but bear with me) :

Me:
How do I untag people?!

Her:
Uhmm.. I dunno? Click on all the people you tagged in it and try to delete poeple... If not, just delete the message. Its getting on my last nerves. I'm tired of trying to talk to my boyfrann and then having to go and check this stupid message about nothing. I'm so OCD its not funny. Untag me. Pleaseeee. Find a way how.

Me:
I'm OCD too.
I see no problem with it. =D

Her:
You don't!!!!!!!!!!!!
I DO!!! I'M TRYING TO TALK TO OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN A BONFIREEEEE!!!!!!!! KAYEEE? FREAKING UNTAG ME OR I'LL REMOVE YOU AND BLOCK YOU. I'VE TRIED TO BE NICE, BUT OBVIOUSLY, YOU DIDN'T WANNA LISTEN.

Me:
Oh, no! You're gonna block me?! D=

....

Seriously? That's your threat?

But yeah, I'm trying to delete it now.

Me: (A little later)
It's over now.

You can go along and gossip with your little friends in peace now.

Her:
YUsss!!! I will block you. It's so freaking annoyinggggggghhhhh!!!! So since you deleted it, there's nothing more fro me to talk to you about. So Peaceeeeee.

Me:
I'll stop annoying you if you stop acting like you're more important than everyone else.

In fact, this is my last message.

Her:
Uhm.
Who are you the one to tell me that I;m acting like I'm more importanat than everyone else? You don't even know me, sweetheart. So i'd Appreciate if you'd stop messaging me. You're getting on my nerves. Kayeee? My grandmother is dying and I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Kayeee? SO YOU Don't tell ME that I'M acting like I'M more inportant than anyone else because I'm not. Kayeee? Now, leave me alone. Kayeee? Byeee.

Me:
I'll pray for you.
And I'm sorry. You just come across like that. I shouldn't have judged you.

So bye.

Her:
Yeah.
You shouldn't have.
I don't come across like nothing but myself and if you don't like who I am or who I "come across" to be, then juss don't talk me. That solves everythinggg. Kaye? NOw, peacee.eeeee...

So now I feel like a jerk. Her grandmother is dying and she's going through hard times, while I'm being an annoying pest who's judging how she acts. I shouldn't have assumed that she was just some jerk who had everything easy.

Just remember that in life.

Any advice on how to deal with the guilt?

Yeah, you messed up here. But it's not the end of the world, and it's no reason to beat yourself up. Just learn from it. I'd even ask her for forgiveness again, because of you telling her that "she comes across like that". But, only do so after repenting from it, and praying to God for forgiveness. If she won't forgive you, it's not your concern, because God has forgiven you and no one is worthy of holding anything against you if He doesn't.

Satan will try to accuse you, but God forgives, so just keep that in mind. I'll pray for your situation as well. Remember Paul told us to esteem others above ourselves. God bless.

We all have weaknesses and that's what Satan's going at. The only way to overcome him is by using scripture. It's just as important to be filled with the word of God as it is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The goal is to get to a point where no matter what situation arises, you have scripture memorized that tells you how to react. Think and live scripture.

As long as you learned something from this experience, I take it as a positive event that needed to happen sooner rather than later.

How to deal with guilt- If you've apologize both to her and to God with an honest heart, then you don't have to feel guilty anymore. Satan can't hold that against you any longer, so don't let him.

Genesis 50:20 - But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
