I got up this morning and reluctantly drove to school in the pouring down rain and tornado-esque wind gusts. I arrive to find my school books were left in my room. My socks are wet, I am unhappy. My teacher is cool with it and lets me look on with my friend and we do our medical CPT coding together.

I need to do some of my online computer class. I'm not even half done with it, and it's due in like 3 weeks or something. I don't even know. I am just glad I graduate next month so that I can finally move on to something I actually care about.

Hermit-ism is one of my many weaknesses. The way I was brought up was without friends. My family just had each other. Up until college I had but one real friend so when I finally came to college I was pulled out of my box. But because of the sickness that left me by myself for a week, my hermit-ism came back. These past few days I've been fighting it as extreme irritation rose every time someone tried to talk to me. My poor roommate. But I have conquered! Hopefully I won't face something like that for a while. biggrin.gif

I ended up having to take a nightclass because of transportation. Which also happened to be Dev psych. 90% of the people in it are old and have kids. The conversation started up about how teenagers are always wrong about everything.

i said nothing.

I played Solitaire in the Bulgarian's class, and we played Jeopardy in American Lit. And they say college is hard. happy.gif

For all of you piano players (like it's your life)...you know those days when no matter how long you practice you can't seem to get a certain two measures a very long piece but those measures are the ones that make or ruin the piece. *groans in exasperation*

Football tomorrow. I'm pretty hardcore loyal to my beloved Razorbacks, but I'm having mixed feelings about the game tomorrow. O_o Of course I want to win because if we do, we get to go to a bowl game! That would be cool...BUT, here's the catch. The bowl game is over Christmas break, and I'd have to go since I'm in band. v_v I think it would be fun, but I REEEEALLY want my down time. Dilemma...

I was so happy this morning. For the first time in, must be weeks, the sun came out today and it wasn't raining. I got to sleep in and...it was just a happy day. I talked to my roommate in the sun, basking in all the the joy that it brought out in me. I then went to my voice lesson and she listened to it. I was so excited, for the first time in two to three weeks after getting the swine flu I was going to sing again. But the minute I opened my mouth and that first note came out I knew something was wrong. At first I thought, "I'm just out of practice. It has been a long time since I started singing." But as the lesson progressed my voice didn't come back. She had me sing the duet I was going to sing for the voice recital just once so my throat wouldn't be strained. By the end of the lesson I was getting depressed as I couldn't even sound as good as Scuttel on Little Mermaid. She asked me one more thing and when I couldn't do that, she told me I had to act like a mute until I got my voice back...if I ever do. If I can't sing, I'll need to find my joy in something else...what that something else is, well, it might take me a very long time to find it.

22 days into my holidays . Sleeping , eating , internet ..sleeping , eating , internet.. Definitely miss my over emotional Biology teacher and my English professor who taught us about his life the first two weeks of college. It's weird that , when we were all in school , we'd beg for holidays , but when we were given holidays , we'd look forward to the first day of school?

So, as I was reading MLIA, I discovered that on someone's campus, if they get hit by a transit bus, then their tutions gets completely paid for by the school. I did some research. Turns out, it's the same at my school. O_o Anyone have any ideas how to jump in front of a bus without being seriously injured? XD

^ If I did I would let you know...not to mention do it myself. haha

I have to play a Debussy piece in front of a lot of people today to practice for the recital. I've never had a teacher make me play in front of people before so this will be very nerve-racking. I hope I don't screw up. The 5-6 page piece is memorized and I'm not allowed to bring it with me for comfort's sake. *takes deep breath* God, help me get through this with as much peace as you can provide. biggrin.gif

What do I want be doing? Sleeping, reading, listening to music, talking with friends. Being productive in some way, shape or form.

What am I doing? Internet procrastination.

Because I don't have a car, I have to work on campus which is fine with me. I hate traffic anyways. I found a job 3 years ago at the cafeteria since they were short handed and I really don't mind it. I worked in the dishpit for my first 2 years and earned the nickname Sonic. When the dishes were getting piled up and the time to close was almost at hand, my body would involuntarily jump into this amazing speed that I nor anyone else could reach if they wanted to and no matter what I did i couldn't keep my body from doing this weird thing. I didn't see anything bad about it until the doctor's ironically told me that I was working myself to death...literally. Anyway, I've spent a semester out of the dishpit until last night. They had a 150 people catering and there was only one girl in the dishpit dealing with the two moving trucks full of dishes plus the normal dinner rush of student dishes. So I decided to go in there and we didn't get done until 12 am even though we are the fastest that the cafeteria has. This morning I woke up in so much pain I couldn't move. I just had to laugh at the whole situation. At least it's Friday and I can regain my sleep over the weekend...maybe. I do have a ton of projects to get done in two days before Thanksgiving break. *breathes deeply*
