It's Saturday! I was having a pretty good day...until...

The hogs lost. sad.gif And...my roommate is laying in her bed with her boyfriend (the one she broke up with a few days ago) and they're definitely making out. O_o I'm sitting right here! D: So...I'm gonna find the heaviest music in my collection and blast that to clear out my mind. smile.gif

...gross... >.< Welcome to college, Faith. Welcome to college. sleep.gif

The H1N1 has finally hit our campus. Fear has struck a few students and teachers keep piling the homework. I was just told today from one of my music teachers for us music majors, for the next couple months we are not to plan anything. They own our souls until roughly around December 15th. If I thought I was stressed before, there is no way I can keep up with everything that's going to hit the fan. Not to mention I have no food for this week. Fasting! Woo!

My roommate thought of a very innovative way to cheat: wear dark jeans and write formulas on your crotch. If they catch you staring at your crotch during a test, what are they going to do, ask to see it? And if they do, you can call sexual harassment on them for asking to see your crotch. I'm not condoning academic dishonesty, but I did find this very amusing.

Well, I got done with a HUGE concert on Sunday (450+ people in the choir, orchestral ensemble, organist, pianist, etc), and my voice is STILL shot after singing E2s, D2s, and C2s. Now we have FOUR practices to learn TUFF STUFF for our next concert on Nov. 10th. To top it off, I have two tests tomorrow, three worksheets due tomorrow, and two worksheet packets due on Friday. I also have two sketches per day to do while my art teacher is in Yokohama for the Int'l Art Festival, and I'm already behind by a couple of days. --sigh--

I hate homework. I'd much rather be on CTF all the time, AND doing art for fun. At least I still have my Southern Gospel music. --headdesk--

ADD: Oh, and I missed a small paper in one class, and didn't see the online quizzes for another. I did the quizzes anyway, but . . . yeah. Sometimes I just want to crawl into a nice dark hole. This too shall pass, I guess. --sigh--

I'm starting to look like a raccoon from lack of sleep. The thing is that I'm getting at the least 6 hours every night which is usually enough. My body loves 9 hours of sleep but we all know college students very rarely get that luxury. And because of all of this lack of sleep nonsense I can't seem to make right decisions. *sighs*

Wednesday, October 28, 2009.

I had two major papers due today and an exam. Frankly, I'm very glad that is all done with! Hoping for decent grades on both papers.

Online media museum team... might present to the professor in his office tomorrow. Might. We've... I've... been waiting for this. Goodness.

Persuasion class... the professor recognizes we are at a crisis moment in a team project and has given us until Monday (formerly due Thursday) to complete it. I'll never learn to stop procrastinating.

I can't sleep. I have been sick all this week and exhausted all day today and now that I have the chance to go to bed I can't sleep! It's so agrivating. And, I worked my butt off to get my informative speech done on time for my class, and the professor sent out an email saying that there's no class!! This is good news, but also bad news. Oh well, now I can go to the clinic/nurse tomorrow and figure out whats wrong with me (hopefully).

I moved rooms today/yesterday. (It's 1AM on Oct 29) and I feel bad because my roommate is asleep and I am up. I dont have the lights on or anything, I just hope I don't wake her up by being on my lap top. She's really nice. Her and my suite mates are all from Ohio, which is where I used to live before I moved to IN in July.

Well, besides being sick and no class and moving, there's nothing else going on here...except this guy. He's so amazing. I really like him a lot. But, that's another story for a different day!

Going to try to sleep now, goodnight!

Band. dry.gif Why did we have rehearsal today? All this week, it has been rainy, wet, cold, and miserable outside. Maybe it's the lack of sun, but going to rehearsal puts me in a foul mood. sleep.gif Which is weird because I love band, hence why I did it in college. Ah well...guess everyone's gotta go through the crap part of things they love.

And my roommate is sick. Fever and vomiting sick. Oh joy. The person I make the most contact with has a fever. *gets out the gs mask* No wonder sickness spreads like wildfire in dorm life. O_o

Gothic Literature class was made optional because it was a film day, so being a lazy bum I decided to not attend..any classes today. I thought I could do my marker rendering at home, considering all I do is socialize in class anyways.

I got myself prepared for some hard work. I cleaned Berty the bunny's cage, I cleaned myself up and I was ready for some marker time...only to find I left my Letraset marker pad at school. >:(

- I also failed a quiz I had in Illustrator class, which doesn't make sense since he let us use Google search to look up the answers (don't ask, I didn't get his reasoning either)
I misinterpreted half of the quiz questions because my teacher is Quebecois, and his english is very weak...so I didnt get what his questions were asking. :/

lol I would have passed if he wrote it in french xD

So there's this guy. He's so amazing! He's nice, Godly, and he's just...I don't know how to explain it! His name is Ben and he's a senior..and my Bible prof's son. Goodness, I never thought I would fall head over heals for a prof's son, or even a senior! I have been thinking about him NONSTOP! I try to push him out of my mind, but I can't! I see him quite a bit and everytime I see him, he gives me a hug. He hugs everyone (this is a Christian university I am at, so eveyone hugs everyone), but for some reason it seems as if when he hugs me...I don't know! I get warm fuzzies when I'm around him and when we facebook chat I can't help by smile. It's getting harder and harder not to blurt out "Ok..I really really like you! Ask me out already!!!" It's getting harder and harder to conceal my feelings for him when I'm around him. who would have known that not even a semester in my first year of college I would be head over heels for a guy!

In other news: I have a persuasive speech coming up soon. I have to email a topic to my prof soon. I am hoping that I can come up with a good topic. For some reason, it sometimes seems hard to please my prof.

Well, that's it for now!

Indiana State's health center is going to be offering H1N1 shots for students. Debates about the shot aside, I might consider getting one.

I have still done little to no work on that project I was given extra time on. Oops.

I now have three separate team projects going in three classes. Dang...

My roommate and I got the H1N1...one of the suckiest bugs to ever have. However, it wasn't too bad getting over it, it's the worrying about the relapse that's 10 times worse or the bronchitis or pneumonia that could come afterwards that's depleting my energy. But I'm staying a bit out of the weather as I get to see my family in a bit over two weeks. biggrin.gif

Had two classes canceled and no chapel. Such a weird, long, drug-out day. Spent most of my day in the coffee shop after biblical interpretation with the guy I have a crush on. rolleyes.gif happy.gif Had a nice time, but it's so nerve wracking. Still have music practice in an hour. Didn't take advantage of my long breaks to take a nap, though....Oh wellz. I got to see my best friend after like, a week of her dying from the swine flu. *glares at Christine*

Oh! And I changed my classes a bit. I had to drop one of my major classes, but I'm getting one more GRE out of the way than before. I dropped Microeconomics and British Literature, but I replaced them with Daniel and Apocalyptic Literature and Fitness and Wellness. So I get my Bible Elective and my Social Science GREs out of the way. (And I get to be in another Bible class with....ze boi. laugh.gif

Well, last night I was sucker-punched in the face by some girl, and THAT left me with a bloody nose. Oh, I was also arrested, handcuffed, searched, tackled, and taken downtown. The cops didn't find the join in my pocket, or the cigarette pack in my back pocket.

--Did I mention I was helping reconstruct a crime scene for my criminal justice professor? Yeah, that was it. I spend two and a half hours in a cramped cubicle, hiding from the cops. I had supposedly robbed someone at gunpoint, assaulted another (and been punched for my trouble), ran off, shot up cocaine, and hid. My "partner in crime" raped and disemboweled a girl (who was laying in a shower--still partially clothed--with beef and chicken livers all over her), while leaving evidence at the scene.

One time, my criminal justice professor loaded a revolver with blank cartridges (cartridges with powder, but no bullet) and gave it to the "suspect". The arresting "officer" didn't search well enough, and didn't find the revolver hidden on the "suspect". The "suspect" was able to draw the gun while handcuffed, aim and "shoot" the officer in the back. BOOM! The suspect suffered a minor flashburn. The arresting officer learned his lesson, and now he is an agent with the Secret Service.

Just another day at school. LOL.

November 8 2009

I do not want Thanksgiving break to come. At all. I am really hoping it doesn't come and if it does come, that it comes slowly. Very slowly. And then goes by really really fast. All because of Ben smile.gif I really like Ben. He is such a great friend and I wish I knew if had the same feelings for me as I do for him. My roommate laughs at me because she says I am obsessed. I am not obsessed. I just like him a lot and can't stop thinking of him.

In other news: I have a test on Tuesday. This is nice though because I have no speech on Tuesday so I can spend all day studying for Bible. I usually get up around 6 on Tuesdays for my 7:30 math class and as soon as math is over with at 8:45 I can start studying. Bible is at 1 and if I spend that whole time studying I will be able to do really well on the test. Hopefully I do really well on the test. Then on Thursday I have a speech to give. It's about why the lottery is gambling. With the outline that I have right now my speech is going to be 3 or 4 minutes. I need it to be a little longer so that way I can meet the time requirements. I already know what I am going to add though.

So today was really pretty out. I sat on the front lawn and studied for Bible. I have to finish making the flash cards so I can keep studying. Then I am going to spend a lot of time studying. I don't have too much homework this week (as of right now) so I should be able to get a lot done. At least I hope so.

Well...time for church and then possibly sitting outside to study some more! smile.gif

I have a month, yes a MONTH to write a five page paper. I did just that about a week ago in one night. Not to mention my professor is giving us class off to "do research" for like two weeks. That's right. No English for Faith for practically two weeks. That pretty much made my day...or my two weeks. happy.gif College, I love you.

My Evolution by Natural Selection teacher is going to get a bad report on the student to teacher evaluation this week.

He's big Gorilla with the patience and grace of a 2 year old. He got mad some girl had her cellphone out (though she wasn't using it) and started mouthing off how she's never listening and and always goofing off. Then when she tried to defend herself he told her to shut up, and preceded to talk bad about her. Typical for this teacher though, if your opinion doesn't gel with his, your wrong and he will explain how wrong you are for the next 10 minutes...no wonder no-one talks in his class anymore, He complains there's no discussion...its because when we do start, he completely dismisses whatever we have to say. LAME

On the plus side though, my english teacher turned out to be pretty awesome. Knowing its our last english exam in cegep ever, the lady is making it Very interesting. I'm allowed to do a triptych. 3 illustrations that show great contrast between Dracula and other story characters with a little 1 page explanation. WOOOTTT I have to worry about a last day exam anymore smile.gif dont
