I have been saved for the majority of my life. I've grown up in church, and have prayed and talked to the Lord as much as I can. But lately, I've been feeling a little far from God...A little doubtful of my salvation. I'm feeling apathetic about some things. When I pray, I feel almost like my words are just words...almost like there's no real depth or meaning to them. I've been going through some changes, and this feeling is killing me. Certain things have started to come between me and my Heavenly Father, and I can't take much more of this heartache.

Please just pray for a revival in my life. That I will be able to accept his love and forgiveness without shame or doubt, and that I can feel the wonderful love I used to feel every time I prayed. I'm feeling "numb"

These lyrics from an Avalon song, are the cry of my heart currently

"I want to feel, crash into my heart. I know You're real, but we are worlds apart. God I've had enough of apathetic love. I want to feel."
FEEL
This song basically sums up my life right now. Thanks so much everyone. I love you all, God bless

I feel that way to, and I pray for you. Always remember, Jesus bridges the gap between us and God, and its only the Enemy trying to trick you. Be strong, know who your rock is, and NEVER cease praying.

I know what you're going through, but a song that always gets me through it is Natalie Grant's "I Will Not Be Moved"..

And though sometimes my prayers feel like
They're bouncing off the sky
The hand I hold won't let me go
And is the reason why

I will stumble
I will fall down
But I will not be moved

I will make mistakes
I will face heartache
But I will not be moved

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground in sinking sand
I will not be moved

--"I Will Not Be Moved', Natalie Grant

You should really listen to the song. If not, that's okay too. You're in my prayers.
