Now that I have successfully made the very first thread in a new forum, I am going to make this about guitar playing, which has been a hobby of mine for a long time, as well as deeper and more complex music theory.
This will more in particular be about guitar proficiency and guitar customizations, because this can be considered a "hobby" which is one that I have interest in. I have always wanted to refurbish a guitar which is a great hobby. Does anyone here refurbish guitars, or has ever done anything to customize the aesthetics of a guitar? LOL, nice job, Jake.
I'm kind of learning how to play the guitar. I know lots of chords, I just need to work on transitioning from chord to chord. |

Good tip for acoustic guitarists: Learn your Open Chords (normal ones), barre chords, and power chords... Then start on transposing keys and doing scales.

Oops, sorry Jake! I responded before I saw that. Would you like me to rename the thread so it's more specific so you don't have a bunch of noobs like me coming in here and talking about our guitar skillz?

Dude I may be re-finishing my bass, I picked up my case one night and only one latch was done up and it fell out and cracked the body. Me and my dad fixed it with tooth picks and wood glue but now it has a gnarly scar so I may take it into an auto paint shop and get them to blast it whenever they get a certain colour car in. Not too picky on colour I just don't really know what colour to get haha.
Or I might just paint it myself, either way some sort of auto motive base/clear works great and gives a nice, thick, high gloss finish that you can polish up. |

Right now im working on an old V electric guitar body. it didnt sound good at all because someone hit really hard and mis aligned EVERYTHING. so im currently taking it apart and im going to hang it on my wall. Its been tedious work, but repainting it should be fun
