QUOTE I don`t get rid of them. I find hiccups most enjoyable. That is weird. I should try this. QUOTE I saw on tv once (some doctor show) that there is a pressure point on your neck that if you press will stop hiccups. I tried it on my sister next time she had hiccups and they stopped! So now that is what I do when I get hiccups. I figured this out with no help |

You take a pencil, put it in between your teeth, and then drink water. Works every time, I promise!
Excuse me if this idea has already been posted... I was too lazy to check |

lol..i found this on the net......
the last one worked for me...... 1. Holding you Breath. (The old wise tale, i have tried this one so many times and it still hasn’t worked for me yet). 2. Drinking water (i don’t know about any of you guys, but drinking water has never gotten rid of my hiccups before). 3. Drinking water with a paper towel over the cup (This one just makes me laugh, the time i saw some lady take a paper towel and drink through it cause she could stop hiccuping, wow, this one is just a desperate act in my eyes). 4. Drinking water and plugging your nose at the same time (you look incredibly stupid doing this). 5. Drinking pickle juice (sorry this just sounds nasty). 6. Get someone to scare you (never works you always expect the scare). 7. Eating a spoonful of peanut butter (well your hiccups are gone but if you don’t like peanut butter or are allergic this one doesn’t work so well). 8. Drinking warm water (it seems the content of the liquid you drink is very significant). 9. Trying to drink any liquid upside down while standing up (seems hard to do, but it worked for me when i tried it). 10. Spoonfuls of Sugar. (I don’t even know why someone thought this is a good way…) 11. Gargling salt water. (i would rather have the hiccups then do this). 12. Eat something. (this never works for me, but its someones theory). 13. Act like a chicken (Squawk like a chicken while flapping your arms and bobbing your head as if you were pecking at something. Hilarious, it is designed to distract you). |

Wait them out.
I get hiccups very often, and may have them on and off all day long. I have tried most of the methods in this thread, and none of them have ever worked. My hiccups are resilient little buggers. |

Ok this is gonna sound super crazy but i saw it on a medical show and if you do it rite it really works fast.
when you get the hiccups, take your pointer finger and middle finger on both hands and place them over your eyebrows in the center of your forehead. (your middle fingers should touch) place your thumbs at the back of your jaw bone, just in front of the joint. press on your forehead firmly but dont hurt your self. breath slowly and count to 10. release. continue until hicupps r gone. trust me it sounds crazy but i promise you it works if you do it rite. try it next times. |

I hold my breath, count from 10 to 1, swallow three times, let my breath out and say "camel."
Laugh if you want, it's legit. |

Haha , well isn't drinking a cup of water or holding your breath easier than those ways?
