Yup, almost sounds like Cafeteria Christians, except they like to use large words and arguments of fools, and rather than ripping it out they try changing the meaning of it. |

Don't see the problem. Bible teaches some good morals, and also teaches backwards, hateful ways. Get what you can out of it.

Actually, Revelation is speaking about itself, not the whole "bible" (which didn't even exist at the time Revelation was being written). The only real problem that I see in this whole thing is that he is defacing someone elses property. It would be no different that cutting the flowers off the wallpaper in the hotel bathrooms because flowers offended you. |

It is not a blanket statement as I used the words "most likely". I'm aware there are people who condemn Mr. McKellen, but I think it's a safe bet to say that a good portion of those who condemn him have done something similar.
Firefighter, you and I both know books have been burned under circumstances that were less than lawful. |
