You can't be serious.

I wish I had something intelligent to add to this discussion, but I'm afraid I'm a little too dumbfounded at the moment.

I do believe that Israel can be trusted with nuclear weapons a little more than Iran. Just based off of the leaders running the countries

Maybe but if you look at the historical records of each country since Israels foundation you would see that Israel has invade more countries than Iran, and Iran has been invaded more times than Israel. So while I don't support the Iranian regime at all, I can understand why they might want nuclear weapons. (even though again as I said earlier this is null since Khomeini wont issue a fatwa to create a nuclear program because he views nukes as offensive rather than defensive weaponry, and I somehow doubt the regime is going to give up their religious legitimacy).

I am not a liberal, I believe one should look at the facts, then who is one's ally.

Fact Number 1) Both countries have commited War Crimes and should be tried

2) both are unstable

3) both want to destroy each other

4) both hate each other

There isn't a logical reason anyone should have nukes except for someone else has them. Hence the cold war.

1) ICJ = failure
2) Contrare, both are pretty stable, in terms of consistent goals and the means used to achieve them. Israel wants to survive, Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map. Both of those goals stay consistent.
3) Iran's intentions make Iran a serious threat in the eyes of a nation who had to fight for its existence from day one, and has been forced to fight for it ever since. Iran is simply the current flagship for the destruction of Israel "party". I think Israel is currently comfortable with a standoff, since its about the best status they've attained since independence.
4) Again... no, really?

There isn't a plausible way to get rid of nukes. The best way to deal with the problem is to limit their spread.

To hold an indefinite standoff, since I doubt you'll ever convince Muslims to stop hating Jews.

Im talking about the ICC, remember anything the ICJ says is not enforceable but with ICC it is.

How so?

Stable means - Resistant to change of position or condition; not easily moved or disturbed.

Australia is a stable country. I dont have to dodge RPG's or have to be careful of suicide bombers, The army doesnt carry around guns in civillans places eg. shopping centre, parties etc. BUT the Israelies do...Let me remind you of the many wars which happening since the Balfour declaration-war and blood shed.

Iran is not stable either a few months a go it had mass protests and had to beat its people into submission, that doesnt sound stable...Also they have suicide bombers against them as well.

QUOTE
3) Iran's intentions make Iran a serious threat in the eyes of a nation who had to fight for its existence from day one, and has been forced to fight for it ever since.

You should rephrase that

3) Iran's intentions make Iran a serious threat in the eyes of a nation who takes voluntarily and involuntarily land from poor Arabs from day one, and has been forced to fight, commit war crimes and crimes against humanity ever since.

Anyway, what is declaring war on Iran going to do?

This should be interesting.

NOT THAT I'M FOR ZIONISM

...

But let's give a group of several thousand displaced Australian natives New Zealand, huge funding from the UN, and access to various explosive weapons, and see how long that stability lasts. It's not really fair to say that because a nation is attacked, it's unstable and at fault :x

Im not saying whos at fault. I think both Muslims and Jews are ridiculous and anyone else who takes a side in this argument. I was just saying that Israel is an unstable country, that is all.

I judge countries by predictability, not amiability.

If Israel is unstable by your definition, it is not a fault of the Jewish state.

You must not have read my post, since you're making my point. Israel doesn't want war, they want to hold a status quo of tenuous peace, since that's the best they have been able to hope for since the Arab-Israeli war of '48.

What I am suggesting is exactly what America and Russia went through for 30 odd years. Wikipedia may remind you, it was the Chilly War.

God gave it to them...and then of there evilness took it away for 70 years to Babylon...and then gave it back to them...

Imagine your great great great grand father had a massive castle, now one day my family knock on your day and say, 'Oi mate this is our castle...you can have half the castle and my family and can have the other half, my great great great great grand father owned this castle but during the war he got kicked out, so we are here to claim the castle.'

How would you respond?

Now God gave the Jews the land BUT after they rejected Him, it was their land, once they lost it, its was gone!

Its like saying every Christian receives salvation therefore I can be a Buddhist and still have Salvation.

Saying that Bible says so is a logical fallacy, understand the context mate.

But I don't wanna go to Hell because I don't approve of a bunch of atheistic terrorists and political pragmatists marching on occupied land and displacing innocent people ;~;

And just to clarify, are you saying that God approves when Zionists steal the land of Christians like Elias Chacour's father? The Bible may or may not say that the land is to go to the Jewish people, but were they really supposed to indiscriminately seize Palestinian property? (Note, I am not referring the displacement of the wars. Read The case of Elias Chacour's childhood..)
