Suicide - the act of deliberately killing yourself

Man killed him. Man put the nails in his hands. Man whipped his back. Man let him bleed and die. Furthermore, I assert each one of us is responsible because it was for our sins he bled and died. We're all murderers.

BUT, grace is awesome. happy.gif

Oh, I don't quite like that theory. ^

Jesus died becaues he upset the Roman/Jewish authority figures. His death is remembered liturgically as the purification and cleansing of the cosmos. The two are of course inextricably linked and this is not immediately obvious without employng a cross-cultural/history of ideas methodology in our reading of the text and our understanding of its reception and cultural background.

God's sovreignty was still above all, and Jesus Christ only had to die because of our sin. Had there been no sin, He would never have even been born.

Of course I know the reason the Jews wanted to kill him.

Sigh. Missed my point but I'm too tired to really respond.
