Wow, $1000? Bit unnecessary! Although it certainly wouldn't be enough, since they said it was $750 at 2 cents a day rate in the 1950s, and inflation would make that $750 waaaaay more than $1000 in no time at all.

o_0 The system should have kicked it out and forced the kid to buy a new copy after like half a year. That's just silly really. The only reason why there are library fines is because librarys want their books back.
