Well there are two "versions" but really it's just a shorter intro and a different opening verse.

One version starts: "He spends his nights in california..etc" and the other is "He spent his whole life being too young..etc" More is different than the quoted part.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1RermtkxPY

That's probably the version you didn't hear.

And...since I went find that vid...and it's playing...Be like that - 3 doors down. huh.gif

Pretty good song, one of Bush's only songs that make any sense.

Comedown doesn't make much sense either...but Everything Zen and Machinehead make *NO SENSE* whatsoever. Look up the lyrics to "Everything Zen" by Bush and then laugh. Do it, I'm serious.

Here's an actual snippet from "everything zen"

Hahahaha I looked up the lyrics. Seriously, what were they on when they wrote this stuff?

Your post made me want to listen to Collective Soul, so I'm now listening to All.

ALL?!? That is my *favorite* song by Collective Soul but I can never find it anywhere! The only times I ever get to hear it are on Rhapsody or when pandora just happens to play it. It's so hard to search for because of the song name.

"...All is all I can give you (do doo do dooo do doo do do) all is all I can do (whooooo)"

AWESOME song.

I love that song. My favorite is Tremble for my Beloved, though. There was a used copy of that CD at F.Y.E. for like, $5 so that's how I managed to get it.
