My name is Marissa, as I'm sure you figured out. I am a Christian girl that loves the Lord. I like school a lot. I love to write, read, and draw. I used to play basketball. I can be kinda hyper at points, so if I'm acting kinda strange, just let me know. My emotions can seem like a roller coaster. One minute I'm sad, the next minute I'm happy. I forgive people rather easily, unless, of course, it's something very bad they did to me. I feel the need to help people. My heart tends to empathize more than sympathize, even if I haven't gone through the same experience as them. I love to listen, so if you want to tell me anything, I will listen and not tell anyone. One of my major things right now is writing. I love to create my characters. I love giving them life and sharing their experiences. Sometimes, I use real life experiences in my stories, which can make them more real. The one thing I have a very hard time with is names. I can never think of the perfect name I want. So, that's defiantly the hardest part for me. Oh, and the story line can be difficult also. But, yeah. Writing helps me vent my feelings and makes me feel free. It's as if I'm not attached to the world anymore. I'm free to do whatever I dream. That's the best part for sure. But getting to know and develop my characters is also a very fun thing to do. Another thing you should know about me. I can be very 'romantic?' at times. I mean this as in I always think of the dream boyfriend/husband. I think of what my life will be like when I'm older and how I want to live and act. I know, I know, it sounds strange. It does to me too. Wasn't it Martin Luther King Jr. that said, I have a dream? Well, I have a dream that my life will be happy and I won't have any regrets. I want the Lord to lead me, and on whichever path he puts me on, I will have faith in him and know that he knows better than I. He is my Father. He died for me. He paid the biggest price, so the least I can do, the least any of us can do, is try and live for Him. So, yeah. If you want to know more, ask me!
