To all new members,
First off - hello! Welcome to Christian Teen Forums, or simply "CTF", as many of you will come to know it. I'd like to take this opportunity to make you aware of something that most of our new members do not seem to fully understand when they initially sign up. If you have made a topic, or posted a reply to another topic, and are wondering why it seems not to be working, DON'T PANIC. There is nothing wrong with your account. In fact, this is completely normal. All new members of CTF are required to go through a post approval system. This means that any new topics or posts you make will need to be read and approved by a moderator BEFORE they are visible to the rest of the forum. It's just a small safety feature that we have instated that makes sure the forum is safe for all members - including yourselves - to use, by protecting the forum from any inappropriate topics or posts that may be made by people who sign up just to cause annoyance. (By the way, moderators - or "mods" - are the guys and girls with orange names on the forums - they are here to keep things running smoothly and to enforce the rules, which I'm sure you've read through by now.) If you have read the rules and understand them, then in most cases you will have nothing to worry about when it comes to your posts being approved. And don't worry - you will NOT have to go through the approval system forever - you are automatically removed from it when you reach a certain (far less than 50) number of posts. By the way, your Welcome PM will explain this - and all the other important stuff - in more detail. Also, if you ever need more help, it would be wise to check out the CTF FAQ before posting a question. Anyway, I hope this has helped clear up any confusion you may have had. Just keep on posting normally, and you'll be out of the approval system before you know it. God Bless, Skywatcher [Head Administrator] |
