My mom's been a nurse for 36 years, and I work in the same department, but I'm not a nurse. That's about as close as I get. doctor.gif

I'm going to be a nurse. I'm doing the pre-req's to get on the wait list for the actual Nursing program.. (and it takes about 2 years to get off the waitlist and into the program.) Then I have another two years after that, and then I'll be a RN.
The only nursing type class I've taken so far is Healthcare Terminology, which was pretty easy and it was only one credit. A lot of studying though.. This semester I'm taking Biology, Chemistry and Algebra 2. Then next semester I'm taking BIO 111 and a Certified Nurse Aide class. biggrin.gif

My sister is in the nursing program, does that count? I thought about it, did the pre-reqs, but decided to go with paramedic instead. I'm a trauma junkie.

My 2 sisters and my Dad are nurses, my brother's going into Radiology, and I'm going to be doing something in the medical field.

Does that count? At all?

(Probably not.)

But yeah, the medical field is amazing. It looks like fun. happy.gif
