I'm always looking for new, good music to listen to. So post a band (with a song maybe?) that you don't think anyone's ever heard of. Chances are someone else will know who they are, but the majority won't... hopefully
Seymore Saves the World - Summer 2005 (the album version is better, but I couldn't find a link!) This post has been edited by Bovine: Apr 7 2009, 05:19 PM |

but a really good indie band who hasn't gotten much attention is called Lydia, there first album isn't that great, but there sound has really evolved with their second album, and frankly I can't stop listening to it. and you wanna know whats cool they have the whole thing streaming on myspace.. http://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseact...albumid=8526827 |

I just found out about a metalcore band called Miss May I.
I was told that The Devil Wears Prada trained them to play in their style, but I can't find any proof. Miss May I sounds very similar to The Devil Wears Prada, though. The band is not labeled as a Christian band, although there are Christians in the band. |

Another band I enjoy a lot is The Color Morale http://www.myspace.com/thecolormorale They sound a lot like Misery Signals. |

HB--Christian Symphonic Rock.
If anyone has any suggestions for other Christian symphonic/opra rock/metal bands let me know. I just kinda discovered this whole genre recently....I love rock, and I love classical music and celtic music, so combing these is so awesome. HB--God has all Glory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBvGQ60_p7I HB--It is Time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkFrGS5CklM P.S. -- I don't really care for screamo/yelling in music, so if someone has something to suggest for me please keep that in mind. Ivory Moon is a symphonic metal band. Most members are christian and they use christian symbolism a lot in their albums. And they have a very professional, unique sound. |

It seems some people didn't actually read the first post. Everyone should be posting bands that they think people might never have heard of. Bands that end up on Top 100 charts or that are well known in Christian music shouldn't be put up here.
Just some advice |

Brad Sucks is a pretty unknown solo-singer who I've been listening to for quite a while now. Not too many people like his music but I think it's pretty good

Enter the Worship Circle. We sing a few of their songs in the college group I'm a part of. I really like their song Dance, Dance.

Sherwood is a great indie band that doesn't deserve the recognition they should.
http://www.myspace.com/sherwood I don't think anyone has posted Circa Survive either... "The Difference Between Medicine And Poison..." is such a good song. http://www.myspace.com/circasurvive NOTE: If you're offended by some swearing, don't listen to them. |

Another band I enjoy a lot is The Color Morale http://www.myspace.com/thecolormorale Dude. Per your suggestion, I got 'em, and I love 'em. Gave a bunch of people in my church a sampler, and they like them too. Many thanks. Also, I just got my hands on this other band: The Crimson Armada. They sound similar to The Color Morale, and are Christian. |

Right now I'm in love with The Octopus Project . They have the keyboard and stuff, but real drums, bass and guitar. It's so amazing, esp. with my new skullcandy. *drools*
and I'm also into David Ramirez, but you can't really find any websites besides myspace to listen to him, but he's so amazing, I love him. =D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Ramirez Then there's all sorts of stuff, like the Appleseed Cast, Badly Drawn Boy, Dntel, Dredgj, and Jupiter One. Jupiter just recently came out with a CD called Sunshower, and I've fallen in love. |
