My name is Jakob (with a 'K'), I grew up in a church and in a Christian family although I became a regenerated Christian some point in January. For God's benefit, my time spent growing up in church taught me a lot of doctrine which has been of profound use to me since my conversion and I have seen been consumed with theology, church doctrine, apologetics, commentaries, systematic theology books, and things of that nature.

I would say that I am one of the most controversial figures on this forum. I am a 5 Point Calvinist and I believe that Christ's death was sufficient for all, but it is only efficient for God's chosen, preordained, justified, glorified, reconciled, ill deserving, elect sinners.
I believe in all five solas tenaciously and happily and will defend them Biblically where I can.
I am currently under mentorship and training to be a pastor. I am going to be attending Boyce Reformed Theological Baptist College in 2010 to obtain a major in Biblical and Theological studies and later a minor in expository preaching and pastoral ministries/leadership.
I will from that point, Lord willing, attend Southern University to obtain my MDiv, and then plant a church wherever God calls me to, and from that point, strive to make disciples preaching a true Gospel not lacking anything as so many due today.

My favorite pastors both alive and dead are Mark Driscoll, John Piper, John Calvin, Jonathan Edwards, and Charles Haddon Spurgeon,

I just moved to Missouri after having been born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin my entire life and I am a college student.

I am a reformed baptist I was baptized as a born again Christian on June 24th so I praise God regarding that.

Ultimately, I'm a wretched, undeserving sinner saved by the grace and mercy of God who loved me before my conception and saved me from my sin because I never could have saved myself.
