Actually, you pretty much got it. The world would be a lot safer if people just didn't have sex. It also wouldn't have to mean extinction. In the past it would have, but thanks to modern science, two people can now have a baby together without so much as laying a finger on one another.

Besides, what's wrong with extinction? I don't know about you, but I don't really think the continued existence of mankind will matter much to me when I'm dead.

The replies in this thread are amazingly sociopathic. It's completely obvious that the father did not 'fear for his life' and simply used that as an excuse to justify his behavior. The fact that most of you tacitly APPROVE of attempted murder in the case of consensual and legal sex is cringe-inducing.

justified 110% absoltley. i would have probably only put 2 shots down but still this guy was 110 percent justified in my mind.

In regards to the OP.... I'd have shot the guy without question. If someone's in my house and I don't know about it, there are likely to be issues, like... "hey..... if you haven't checked already, there's a floorsafe beneath my bed," kind of an awkward situation, but possibly explanable. If someone's in my house having sex with my daughter, I'd probly figure she's being raped. If someone comes to my door and asks to have sex with my daughter, I'd permanently fix their face and leave it at that. =D

Occasionally I enjoy coming back to CTF and reading some of the topics. I generally steer clear of posting and shake my head as I watch the same debates I went through 3 years ago happen over, and over, and over again on this forum. Sometimes I am really tempted to post in order to right a wrong, but I come back to my senses and remember that nothing is ever solved on the internet.

For some reason this thread angered me so much (something I must repent of) I've decided to post a response.

How dare you call yourself a Christian then advocate shooting an 18 year old boy? How dare you disgrace the Lord we are supposed to represent with such psychopathic conversation and statements.

Shame on all of you, and anyone else who shares the same sentiment. Your brash declarations are not ones that come from the Christian God of Mercy and forgiveness. The same Lord that demands we forgive one another lest our own sins go unforgiven, the One who calls us to turn the other cheek when hit, to lay silent when persecuted.

This man needs Jesus in his life and healing for his anger problems. The young lady needs God to help her resist her lustful desires. The young man needs God to heal his body and to give him strength to resist temptation. All three need forgiveness, and what is the most upsetting is this:

All of you condemn the young man in light of your own salvation where you have been forgiven of so much more than having sex. You've been forgiven of cosmic treason against your creator. How dare you sit at the judgment seat and dole out punishment for sin. You are unfit to judge, and you do not judge righteously, for even in your ignorance of justice you fail to understand the woman played as much and maybe even more in this situation.

The next time pride swells with-in you so much as to condemn someone who God has called us to show nothing more than love towards, remember your own salvation and fear and tremble at God's words.
