Everyone I know imagines Edward with black hair, even though it's clearly described in the book as golden-brownish.

I haven't read the books, but I put it on hold at the library. I'm #214, there are 213 people ahead of me. And each person gets the book for two weeks. 0_0 It'll take me a while...maybe I should just buy it.
Doesn't it get a bit sensual in some parts? And I've heard that Edward is a vampire. I want to see what everyone's so hyped up about, and I want to have a fair opinion. I hope I enjoy the book. |

...am I the only one who finds Twilight utterly disgusting?
And no, I don't mean: "Ew, they kissed! Cooties!" sort of disgusting. The relationship portrayed is terrible. Edward is very abusive. >_> And Bella and Edward are in lust, not love. It promotes pedophilia. Imprinting IS sexual no matter what (aka imprinting is sexist and pedophilic) The Twilight books send bad messages... Someone please reassure me. |

...am I the only one who finds Twilight utterly disgusting? No, you aren`t. Stephanie Meyer took thousands of years worth of terrifying myths and turned them into a teenage pop sensation. Those of us who feel this way generally do not venture into Twilight fan threads. |

I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that nearly everyone of the female species love the books. |

If it makes you feel any better, I have never met a Twilight fan in real life. Then again, the people I spend my time with don`t glorify vampires in any way. Vampires are seen as evil and demonic (though they make great antagonists in horror films). Don`t feel alone; if you did not know, I am female as well. |

I do believe you mean New Moon, haha. But I can't wait! Me either, lol. Read the last three books in less than a week. 14 Days! EDIT: Yes, I'm a guy, and yes, I think the Twilight Saga is a good story series, however poor Meyer's technical skills are, and despite numerous flaws. Twilight was the slowest book for me. Things picked up a LOT when the werewolves bounded on the scene. This post has been edited by Jarrax Volk: Nov 6 2009, 07:58 PM |
