I would immediately step down as dictator and form a free republic.

I would pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan completely.
I would close our borders to all immigration into the country until better methods can be devised.
I would get rid of the Lisbon treaty.
I would come down very hard upon the IRA and the Catholics/Protestant divide in Northern Ireland.
I would move our forces to Africa where they are really needed for humanitaria support.
I would remove the I.D cards from being used.
I would get rid of speed cameras.
I would stop budget cuts on the military.
I would stop prison being a nice place to stay.

Then I think it'd be about lunch time on day one...

Because the notion of a woman being a dictator is really offensive, foo'.

My country would be on an island a bit to the west of Europe.
Due to the incredibly tiny size, there would have to be a birth limit.
Death penalty for murder, no life in jail crap.
Run the country off of nuclear power.
Never get involved with any war.
Build resorts for tourism.
All cars would be electric, since you could drive across the country on a full charge anyway.
Earnings of more than $1,000,000 dollars a year would not happen (excluding lottery/prizes).
Heavy fine associated with bankruptcy.
Oh, and the island would be a republic, of course

Lets see... if I were a dictator...

1. Do away with the associated press and force every little agency to do it's own research.
2. Pull out of Afganistan and Iraq but prior to, find 2 people of whom each nation would except as kings but would be willing to help me.
3. Allow homosexuals in the military <--- there are many who want to help
4. Implement libertarian ideas first within the military to lower unnecisary costs and if successful, bring it to the rest of the gov.
5. Conquer Canada, Mexico and all of south america.
6. have public execution of Chavez and any other dictator from south america.
7. Split major cities with crime issues into sectors and deploy lords to tame their sector by any means that they want to as long as no one innocent dies or gets hurt.
8. Implement Orthodox Christian Priests and, both under cover, and openly throughout the sectors to keep an eye and to report any violations.
9.Pull out of the UN and any treaty bar the geneva convention.
10. Drill for oil, mass produce brazils sugar fuel, and other bio fuels and try to put the middle east out of business oil wise.
11. Do away with most censorship except for censorship against porn. <--that's needed
12.Decree that I and those who succeed me chose there successors. No birth rights whatsoever
13.Inquiry into free masonry, and if there is any danger involved with it, arrest the leaders and close the lodges.
14. Expand upon Job Corps and hand it over to the Orthodox Church and Roman Catholic Church to help people get on the right track financially speaking.
15. resurrect Reagen's Star Wars.
16. Return privacy to the people by making is so that anything monitored is monitored with a computer that can detect patterns (for detecting code) and for picking up anything potentially dangerous.
17. Clear out Palestine and fund the rebuilding of the Temple of God under the condition that Christians are allowed to freely worship in it.
18. Make technology classes mandatory among schools along with higher quality history classes and math classes.
19. Create several autobahns across my Empire that have no speed limits.
20. Do away with corporate farming and return farming to small families with hopes of the quality of food rising from where they are.
21. Ban Aspartame
22. Deregulate the medical industry, create large fines for pointless and false charges against patients and employ Priests and Pastors of various denominations to keep an eye on things be it under cover or in the open.
23. Send a campaign into Ethiopia to check out the one monument to see if the ark of the convenant is there. If it is, take it to a selected location in America.
24. limit amount of chemicals that can be used in foods.
25. Make the America skinny and healthy again.

Ban abortion unless the mother is in danger of dying. Any doctor or woman who gets an abortion unless she is in danger will be charged with murder.

If you want to form a church you need to have the greek orthodox priests or whatever allow you to make it. I will stop that from being a necessity.

Stop spending this much money on military, focus on spending money to advertise greece better for tourism and actually make it cleaner and have people not try to rob tourists blind.

Spend money trying to perserve our ancient stuff better, or to get them back from museums around the world.

Spend a lot more money on education and research programs.

Increase taxes for the rich, decrease taxes for the poor a bit, try to slowly pay off national debt.

All my soldiers would be convicted prisoners at maximum security prisons across the world.

Send many soldiers to Clear out Africa and all poor areas, and send the poor people to America to work in our sweat shops. Those that can't handle it, shall be sent to the moon for NASA test subjects, and guinea pigs for scientists.

Befriend Russia and then take over Australia and New Zealand.

Then betray and take over Russia.

Invade Canada just for fun.

Hmm... one thing I would do is ban bars and strips clubs and alcohol in public places like restaurants and clubs. It has never made sense to me that the government allows alcohol in places like these when the people are obviously going to leave those places driving under the influence. Like people actually use a designated driver all the time.

Child molesters would be castrated

Government would support missionaries to minister and feed the needy in other countries

abortion would be prohibited

I'd clean up the media too

I'd ban pornography in america - I mean isn't that like legal prostitution

I would make it a law that every year, the bottom performers in terms of GPA at every high school would be publicly executed in front of the school in the football stadium. Student performance would then increase exponentially.

Well, I don't know about too much, but one thing I'd focus on is crime fighting... First off, all sentences would be either doubled or tripled for everything in this country.
Fighting - 5 years in jail.
Robbery - 20 years.
Murder - 50 years
Traffic Violation - 1,000 dollars
Disorderly Conduct - 1 year
Disturbing the Peace - 1 year
Pocession of drugs - 5 years
Distribution - 8 year
Manufacturing - 15 years
And once you get these sentences, they do not go down.. 8 years means 8 years.
Lol. Think of how much the crime rate would go down if everyone knew they'd be in serious trouble..

I live in Australia and I'm an anti-militarist/pacifist.

The greatness of a country isn't how many nukes or tanks or bombers they have, it isn't in the size of their military or how well the government employees can murder other people, rather it's in how well the poorest person in their country is living.

Godsloveneverfails is right. You'd overcrowd our prisons, leaving it to the tax payer, not to mention everyday people would end up in prison (honestly, how many people have been in a fight before? I'll bet it's a good 35% of all males...). Burden of the tax payer equals less money in the pockets of the people, which effects the economy.

Crime fighting isn't a simple "the more, the better." Concept. Besides, don't you know that government can never produce a just society?

In addition to overcrowded prisons, there is no way our courtrooms could handle this either. Unless, of course you're planning on getting rid of the right to a free trial as well..
