When I was a child, I was always very well-behaved and didn't really stray out of line. Life seemed pretty mundane. I would complain that my life had no purpose, and people would just tell me that God has a plan. I guess I was just following his plan all along, and it wasn't until I started making bad decisions that I actually saw Him intervene.
When I was 14 I went through a bit of a rebellious faze, and did some things I'm not proud of. It got to the point that I thought my life was over, but then it seemed as though some other force had taken control, and every time I tried to do something dumb, it would be prevented. It simply astounds me how when I need it the most, God is there to give guidance to my life. Now He's put me back on the right track, and I'm a better and more fulfilled person. The Lord's help was so incredible that I don't understand how anyone can say they "don't believe in God". It's like saying you don't believe in AIR! God smply is all that is great, and the events of my adolescence allowed me to learn to completely and undoubtedly accept God into my life. I know I may be preaching to the choir here, but it's difficult to express just how wonderful it feels to know that God is there for me. |

amen! Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you a song about God having a plan for you. That is one of the most comforting things. I actually messed up not long ago, but God reminded me that He had a plan for me and that it didnt end in defeat and that gave me the strength to get back up and walk on!

Wow! Congratulations! I love when God reveals Himself to us like this and I totally agree in that I don't unserstand how people simply don't believe in Him. He is everywhere, if you just look for Him. In ALL situations! Glad to hear that you're doing great!!!!

Awesome testimony, and I'm right there with ya. The song "Beyond Measure" by Jeremy Camp comes to mind.
 "I know that I’ve been, Given more than beyond measure. I come alive when, I see beyond my fears. I know that I’ve been given more than earthly treasure, I come alive when I’ve broken down and given you control." It's so true. I grew up with Christ in my heart at a very young age, and never knew what it was truly like to be saved by Christ. I never fathomed His great love for me, and I never realized that until He showed me His greatness. It wasn't til I was broken, that He could use me. He is truly all we need, and more than enough.

Wow...brother i have to sincerely say that i was pretty much like you...i know God has a plan but by my own stupidness and ignorance i m willingly fallin away from my faith...I hope to one day soon, get back on track...
