Knowing what it is God is calling me to do, even though it's really hard. I trust Him.

Funny things make me happy.

A few hours ago, my mother was talking with some co-workers at Dennys. I was there too (her co-workers love me). We were discussing the movie District 9. I hadn`t seen it, nor had everyone else. My mother attempted to describe it, but she couldn`t find the right words to use. She started waving her hands and asking what the correct word to describe the theme of the film would be.
Eventually, it came out like this:

"It is an alien movie. They come from outer space and land in South Africa. There was heavy anti-alien undertones in this movie."



Its a sci-fi alien movie, with "anti-alien undertones". She was trying to describe the parallels between the apartheid in South Africa and the treatment of aliens in the film, but it came out all wrong. It struck me as so funny because, as I live in an extremely nerdy household, I was brought up on sci-fi and alien films. In nearly all of them, the aliens are hostile. It was just a hilarious moment.

Today, I woke up to my little brother and mom screaming at the top of their lungs, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! DON'T GO INTO THE LIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!!" at my little sister.
For some reason, that put me in an awesome mood O_o

^Dude, that would definitely put me in a good mood! haha

Okay so for me:
This crazy chocolate my sisters found- this stuff is EPIC!! Not even kidding.

(Read the wrapper- it's the best part!)
I dunno, that made me pretty happy.

-My pastor and his sermon this morning,
-God's mercy,
-James 1:21-26,
-pens and plenty of hand/arm space to write on.
-people
-books (!)
-coffee
and music

Today was a good day...

- Seeing my friend Coco and his family tonight. Gosh, those kids are flippin' fun. I love them bunches.

- Learning new chords tonight on piano.

- And watching Batman Begins with my daddy and brothers. My sides hurt from laughing.

That chocolate bar is win. Just thought I'd point that out.

-I'm pretty sure I owned my history test. >:]
-I don't have to go to band today
-My audition went really well
-I found a water bottle when I thought we were out
-Someone left a bag of candy outside our door as a Halloween thing.
-I still get to talk to/text an awesome human being every day
-I actually got some necessary stuff done without putting it off.

...life has been good...

This is a few compiled days

*I actually talked to my grandma and listened to what she had to say. I'm sooooo glad I did, her stories were awesome and the *gollum voice* warmed my icy heaaaaart....

*I got that stupid debate over with. I got 2 votes, my opponent got 4, and there were 8 votes for ties, but we both got A's.

*I'm going to go gnome hunting tonight with the youth. And the best part?! PRE-ASSIGNED GROUPS!!!! This means that I don't HAVE to (for formality's sake) force my presence on people who don't want me there like the worthless leech I am! I'M HAPPY!!!

*I might just possibly be making some friends at school and church.

*I woke up this morning and read Twiffer

*This.... is... AMAZING!!!! O_O
Guilt free AND delicious!
AND I had one after lunch today

*I'm going to wear one of the few outfits that I actually feel pretty in soon.

*My geometry is "done" for the day

yesterday made me happy today

I wrote a letter to my best friend about two weeks ago and he hadn't written back, emailed, or texted in a while...so I wrote an email to him asking him about it and telling him I was kind of sad waiting for it...he told me that the reason he hadn't sent a letter yet was because he had been planning to send me a package this time, but he had meant for it to be a suprise!! At first I just felt guilty, but he said I shouldn't. Now I'm just glad that he thinks enough of me to want to get me something and send it to me I was smiling all day today because of that and because he said he loves me with a cherry on top served to me by a transformer Love him

Today...

*I bought the dress for my big 15th birthday party... AND it was only 10 bucks, but still REALLY pretty... and sparkly!
*I went to the eye doctor and am going to get my first pair of glasses in a few days. They're pretty too!
*I went to steak and shake and after that giant milkshake, I'm not sure I'm going to fit in the dress... still, it was yummeh!
*I'm listening to an AWESOME audiobook
*I'm going to read Deathnote in a few minutes, or watch Azumanga Daioh, or chat depending on my mood.
*I'm going to see my 2 bestest friends evah in 2 hours.
*I had another chewy chocolate granola bar for breakfast.

It turns out I won't need glasses until college.

Getting my college prospectus. It looks like such a great place *can't wait*
I aced my history test.

Going to bed at 1am because I watched Gilmore Girls with my adopted mom and she made breakfast/lunch for me today too. totally made my day.

I got to see my best friend and crush today. He is sooooo very sweet and kind and everything you could ever want in a friend.

Finished Editing my last song for my demo...

My friends were fighting for me.. which was bittersweet.

Went to an opera Wednesday and didn't get banned from the the Kentucky House of Opera unlike a few kids who went to see it, while I was there with DeMarcus...

Its the weekend and that is awesome.

Today was Autumn gram delivery. Basically, they are little notes that you buy and send to friends and they come with candy. Everyone at my school loves to buy them.

It looks like the handwriting of the guy that I like, because were best friends and he always passes notes to me in class and I keep them. I compared, because I'm just a stalker like that, and it really really looks like his handwriting.

We went to little chef and had chocolate cake and chips, plusI learned sparks are making a new album =)
Now to make this day perfect it needs to rain so no annoying kids come round asking for meh candy.

My own loopiness cracks me up sometimes. I woke up at 2 with a really, really bad stomach ache. So I was sitting in bed in fetal position and for some reason I was singing Dancing With Myself by Billy Idol in my head because I thought that it had some secret sublimal message about how to get rid of my stomach ache. I swear I'm not on drugs, haha. I'm thinking it was a mixture of fever and sleepiness. It didn't make me happy per se, but it made me chuckle in the morning

I got to sleep in.
I had the chance to meet some new friends last night.

*I found a five-legged ladybug on the outside of my window and spent a good amount of time watching him today. I named him Herbert. He made me happy. Then he crawled into a spider web and almost died. twice. But he escaped.

*I went to dunkin donuts and got a pumpkin coffee.

*I volunteered at the fall festival at my church and made cotton candy. Which is just a verry happy thing, fluffy pink and blue sugar. And there were tons of cute little kids in adorable costumes.

*I went to contemporary service at my church which is always awesome. The message was really good.

1). Those little candy pumpkins. I ate like a gazillion of them today...

2). My big brother. Okay, so he and I haven't been best friends for our entire lives or anything like that, but I'm really starting to get to know him and appreciate him. He helped me calm down when I felt like murdering a bunch of people earlier (they deserve it! ) just by talking and goofing off with me, and we had a pretty good discussion on the stupidity of mankind.
The girl who gets him will be pretttyyy lucky.

3).(Last but definitely not least!) God, and what He's been teaching me. I'm realizing more and more about what it means to be humble, to want Him in my life, to think of Him, and at least attempt to put Him in a more prominent place in my life. He can't just be shoved off in a little corner and pulled out when I need Him- He needs to be in my life and I need to make the sacrifices to have that happen.
Somehow, I'm pretty sure that any dweeby little sacrifice I make to have room and time for my Lord and Saviour will pay off.

I love how life is going right now... =]

*I woke up early and actually read my Bible

*I watched 4 episodes of Death Note yesterday and have just finished about half of the manga. ZOMG! O_O SO EPIC!!!

*I worked out (sorta) a little issue between me and a friend.

*School isn't totally evil anymore! I'm starting to get physics (sorta) and geometry isn't as horrid as it used to be.

*My debate is... OVER!!!! I didn't win, but I'm okay with not failing miserably! (8 votes for a tie, 4 for my opponent, 2 for me, but we both got A's!)

*I made oatmeal for the first time. I added brown sugar and walnuts too! Not the best I've ever had, but I'm proud of actually cooking something without burning it

I got a coupon to my favourite online store in the snail-mail. They even referred to me as "an esteemed patron". I feel so special, though I was told that just means I give them a lot of money.

Shuddup. I like being esteemed.

Purple cauliflower. 'nuff said. O_o Seriously, I didn't even know such a plant existed.

Ohmigosh! I remember seeing purple cauliflower for the first time and wondering if it was edible XD

And yus, manga obsessions FTW!!! It's soooo much fun! Although I DID have a dream last night where my mom yelled at me and called me a witch for watching Death Note xD

Erm, today I stayed in bed an hour longer than I should have and I'm still not late for school.

That's about it for right now XD

My mom gave me permission to go on a trip that I've been planning for awhile now. She's also gonna help me pay for it. Not only is it halfway across the contry, but it's to meet someone I met right here on CTF. I'm so freaking excited right now, its pretty ridiculous.
