I suppose you can classify me as 'homeschooled'. I am enrolled with Pensacola Christian Academy (abeka academy) through a DVD/Online correspondence program, but I indeed am schooled from home. Ew. Abeka. This year we're trying classical home schooling. We've home schooled for about ten years; this is the first time we're going classical. So far it sucks. |

I'm homeschooled and I like it for the most part. I usually really don't like other homeschoolers (around here, anyway, not saying anything about the rest of you guys!), so most of my friends go to public school.
But I love that I can work on my school whenever and however I want. And I'm doing two years of college this school year through testing that I wouldn't have time to do in public school, so that's awesome. I'll only have to go to a real college for two years, so I'm going to be finished with my BA right after I turn 19... Now that's an awesome advantage of homeschooling And socialization is NOT a big deal. Really. It's not like you HAVE to sit at home all day every day, that's just how some people choose to do things. |
