for me its much better if you are not a home - schooled tongue.gif

its just very happy and enjoyable for me if i go to school... and i prefer school very much smile.gif yeYyyy clap.gif

haha BTW im not a school hater... because i really love studying because it help me to learn more about this world, the things around me and a lot more which i like to know biggrin.gif

it is also better because you can have many friends and you can see them in real person, you can hang out with them and you may know them well wink.gif

and in school you will be really challange with your clasmates wink.gif in the activities that you will made with them and together with the teachers .... and more fun like fieldtrips (clasmates and teachers will go in a certain place)

and i do like and prefer going to school smile.gifwink.gif yeyyyyyyyyyyy clap.gif

Homeschool can be fantastic but i think it's good to experience all forms of school. christian. public. and homeschool. I've been in all of them and it's really helped to shape my views of school and not be so judgemental towards things other then christian schooling

When I was 4-6 I did a christian home school curriculum.
I then went to primary school, intermediate... and two different highschools.
Now im on correspondance, I think is the best choice so far.
I get alot more time to dedicate to God which is awesome.
I've been on it for about 4ish months and loving it.

I was homeschooled until the 8th grade. I thought it was fine. For the past two years, I've been going to a Christian private school.

It's awesome.
I'd never go back.

In the past year, I've sort of developed an... dis-taste for homeschooling families in my area. There's a very large homeschooling community in my town, which is fine with me. But most of them insult me because I left homeschooling. They constantly nag me and hound me, telling me about how much smarter they're going to be because they homeschooled. And about the better colleges they're going to go to because they were homeschooled. And how I was dumb and need to go back to being homeschooled.

I've gotten to the point where I tell them that "at least I have social skills".

You could say that I dislike the majority of the homeschoolers in my town. (Mostly ones in the big network.)

There are also a good group of homeschooling kids who I get along with great. So I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with it. If that's what you want to do, that's GREAT.

But good grief. Try to keep your nose out of the air.

Haha. Sorry. Just had to rant there. I feel stupid now.

Keep you nose out of the air? You think most homeschoolers act smart?
I feel dumb most of the time because a lot of people in my family dislikes us because we're homeschooled,we're less important.

Oh, sorry about that. I wasn't talking about you. I meant the ones that I've had a lot of bad experiences with.

I find it REALLY saddening that you go through that though... homeschooling is a choice, and it's a VERY wise one at that.
Homeschoolers are smart. VERY smart. Don't let anyone ever let you think otherwise.

I have never been home schooled, always gone to public school, and I have to say, I like public school, I would not like being homeschooled or private school, public school gives you a taste of the real world, kids are to sheltered these days. My cousins were homeschooled though, they are doing alright, actually one is doing great in life, the other is just in 12th grade, but sadly, is a little on the wild saide, I think it has a lot to do with all the sheltering.

I'm going back to homeschooling, WOOOT! biggrin.gif

I was homeschooled up till 7th grade then we moved and I started going to this small(And I mean SMALL, there are only like 75 kids total) Christian Private School. 8th grade was hard, I had to get used tog etting up early and having to ctualy hand in HW. Then there were all the stupid Science projects, (I hate science, do not enjoy it at all, which is one of the reasons I am glad to leave.) 9th grade was THE BEST, I had all classes I liked, I had made alot of friends, (Ok, I was good friends with almost everyone since there were only about 15 of us, tongue.gif). 10th grade, last year, was just awful. I found mysekf bored by half the classes and wishing I didn't have to waste so much time on the stupid science fair project they MADE us do.

So next year I am going back to homeschooling for the reast of my highschool years. I'll get to focus more on the subjects I like, Literature, History,Algebra, and not so much on the ones I don't. Which is super cool to me. I am going to miss all my friends but I know I'll still see them alot, they promised to invite me to all the parties, lol. tongue.gif
