    Star Wars: The Bored Awakens

I dance behind my coworkers when it's dead at my second job. Rather amusing. XD Oh dear... alot? haha. I don't remember when we last talked but in the past year I've: -Tried internet dating Spoiler alert: it's stupid. Just don't. Don't ever. Meet friends online and let it bloom, cool! Otherwise nah. -Got my first apartment and interpreting job. -LOST that job but got another 10 days later. O.o God is weirdly good. -Dropped 25lbs and 6 inches from my waist, my goal is -50lbs and my waist can do whatever the heck it wants at that point. -Developed biceps from working stock at the paint store. I named them Liberty and Justice. My quads will be named "Heck yeah!" and " 'Murica" whenever they decide to show up. -Developed an allergy to dairy products. ;_; #prayforbecky -Finished my first novel! Hopefully I get it published soon...ish? The girl who was helping me edit kinda dropped off of the face of the earth so, plan B will be initiated soon. -started battling depression and all that garbage again, but if I beat it once... I can beat it twice. -Going back to college in January to start my bachelor's degree. How've you been?

    July 2018 Update (PLEASE READ)

Hey guys! I'm Becky and you've most likely seen me around, either spamming the Bored section or sassing at spam bots because I was powerless to do anything else to them. I know I come across as a grump, but I'm actually a big ol' softie (I just have very little patience for stupid. :P) Feel free to message me if you need any tips surviving these crazy teen years. If I can make it out whole, you can too. Little background: I joined CTF in 2007, when I was 16. If memory serves, I was on staff from 2009-2012, but I could be mistaken. I "left" awhile back because I felt too old to be here, lurking around as a regular member. I continued to creep around from time to time despite that. Like Will, this place holds a certain nostalgia for me and I wanted to keep tabs on it. When he asked if I'd like to help the place out, of course I said yes. Here's to a fresh start!

    Depressed due to Skin Allergy

I mostly just get really really sad and lethargic. I've never been diagnosed with anything, but my mood and energy levels drop incredibly in winter, especially on cloudy days. Working out or writing down how I feel, sometimes forcing myself to go outside helps. Kinda depends on the day. I'm still navigating it, honestly.

I have winter induced seasonal depression. It certainly exists.

    Depressed due to Skin Allergy

Eczema doesn't go away easily. It's not as fast as "go to the doctor and pop a pill". There are creams that can bring relief, but a flare up can last months. It can be chronic, and yes, I could see how your friend would be uncomfortable. It makes your body look abnormal . Have you seen what eczema looks like? Do a quick google search. It can make strangers stare. Sometimes the patches become scabby and crack and bleed. My stepdad has it over most of his body. It's pretty terrible and can be really, really itchy. So, I'd go up to your friend and see if you two can make amends and if not, go on your trip and bring her a thoughtful souvenir.

    Homosexuality

Is it possible to maintain a decent relationship with Christ with any sort of sin in the way? Watch porn all the time? No. Compulsive liar? Nuh-uh. Cheatin' on your s/o? Stealing things? Worrying? Being a gossip? From personal experience, I say no. These things even though they are more "accepted" amongst the denominations can be just as problematic and destructive to your relationship with God. While I do think homosexual believers exist and are totally valid in their walk with Christ, what it boils down to is, how are they living their life? Are they living in a worldly fashion or trying to be Christlike? Is this a temptation, a weak spot of theirs or is it how they live? Even Jesus himself was tempted by worldly things, lust for power being the main one I can think of right now. I mean, I guess it's POSSIBLE to be an unrepentant homosexual believer, but given all the verses about how sin drains you and dissolves your relationship with God(Rom 8:9-16), how you will be rejected by God for being "lukewarm"(Rev 3:15)... would anyone really want to stay in that boat?

    Non-cheesy Christian music?

While I've never listened to the 1975, so I can't compare sound, I do know of some groups that MAY fit the bill. 90's CCM was all over the board stylewise, so you may find something hiding in the archives of the youtube. Audio Adrenaline ranged from Pop-ish to Grungy. Every song seemed to be different and I just... ugh. lovely. The Newsboys were the quirky, eclectic pop group from "Down Unda" that did some pretty interesting things that you wouldn't hear today. (but anything after 2006-ish is garbage in my opinion.) Chris Rice was rather imaginative. Imagine the creativity of Owl City sans the syntho-pop. otherwise, you could try "X-genre cover of (song)" and see what comes up.

    Is this place dead?

There's a lot to learn here or if you like "time capsules", it's a good place to be. Bu asfor bubbling conversation.... yeahh... nooo. Social media has evolved over the years and while alot of forums are thriving, our has died due to a state of disrepair, neglect from the admin and user disintrest. All of these factors feed off of each other.

Chat Room Error... Is It Only Me?

Yeah, but he's got a dead beat Dad vibe to him. No affection to show, just random presents from time to time. "Oh, you want a hug?.... here's five dollars, see you next month." :\

    Sexual and Romantic Orientation(s)

I changed. Alot. lol. -Mostly hetero sexual -Hetero-romantic. -Would be hyper sexual if given the chance. Song of Solomon 8:4 "Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires." Well, it's definitely awake now. What do I do?

    Is this place dead?

It's been dying since the smart phone came around. No one uses forums to communicate anymore. Everyone uses snapchat or facebook nowadays.

Which will never happen because the admin hasn't logged in in over a year.
