Hi guys, it's been a while. So, I have this friend that I've been on a two dates with. We've known each other for a over a year now, and we became BF&GF around June of last year. He's incredibly sweet, goofy, mature, and we like a lot of the same things. After a while, I started to feel less attracted to him in that way. He's one of my best friends, but I don't want to continue "that" kind of relationship. For more than a month, I've been trying to tell him but the time was never right. You see, whenever we see each other, it's mostly at the theater where we perform musicals and things of that nature. It's hardly ever private. Other than that, we talk on the phone and internet, but I can't break up with someone like that! Meanwhile, everyone keeps saying how we're a great couple and they ask if we're still together, and I just want to bite my tongue off every time I say "Yes." What's worse is I think he likes me just as he always has. Oh yeah, and his mom wants me over for dinner soon. My question is if anyone has any advice on how to ease out of this? I know I absolutely don't want to surprise him with a breakup. That would be terrible! But I don't want to keep him held down to me anymore. Advice? If it isn't obvious already, this is my first relationship.

I've been homeschooled for most of my life. I spent three years in a private school during elementary, but I'm doing so much better at home. ^^ I love it!

It sounds like a good idea! I'm sure many could benefit from the information offered, as well as share some valuable tidbits themselves. I'm a bit of a health-nut myself. Frankly though, if such a thread were started, I'm not sure how active I'd be in it. Personally, I'd just rather find answers to any questions I have regarding my body without posting on a forum. I can take mild pain quite soundlessly. If I stub my toes, get a cut, get my hair pulled-things like that. With bigger pains, you'll get grunts and moans out of me. I think I take them well. My own blood doesn't creep me out a bit, but some one else's(in large enough amounts) makes me a bit queasy.

I don't find anything wrong with alcohol, so long as it's not abused. Studies have shown that there are health benefits to consuming a moderate amount of alcohol. Some of them being reductions in the risk of heart disease, in the risk of dying from a heart attack, in the risk of a stroke(possibly), in the risk of gallstones, and in the risk of diabetes(possibly). As for whether drinking is Biblically wrong or not, I don't think so. The only time I've read of God being displeased by one partaking in wine is when they became drunk. Personally, I don't find drinks very appealing. When I turn 21, I may have a glass of wine or something. I don't ever plan on being drunk. How is that fun? I don't see it. For the most part, if I want to indulge in a drink, I'll have two bottles of Arizona iced tea(yum!).

I thought it was going away from me too. o.O I like San Salvacion's idea. I vote it's a bus from the future that hovers over its wheels, and has two buttons: a green one that says "TEL. IN" and a red one that says "TEL. OUT."

I'm home-schooled!! I absolutely love it! I went to a private school from 3rd to 6th grade. I made great friends, but the education I got was...blah. Being home-schooled has much more pros than cons for me. I stay social too, so I'm able to make friends. ^^ I'm very happy with it.
