  1. thanks for the input ^^
  2. LOL! XD
  3. Yeah, I completely believe that you don't have to have to believe in reincarnation to be saved, but please forgive me, but I need to know why a Christian can or cannot believe in reincarnation. .-. Arggh! Darn over logical mind!
  4. I'm actually a Christian here, but I will confess I sometimes start to wonder if God really does send people back to earth. Are there any Bible verses/ scientific evidence to back that thought up or to disprove it?
  5. I'll have to do some research on the genre.. I'm not very familiar with it, but I'll see what I can do ;-P
  6. I have never heard of Djent.. Sowwy... Thanks =3 I never thought about doing any other genres, but I could...
  7. Metalcore: Like it or not, I am Metal! Death Metal: Heck no Metalcore: Get over yourself Death Metal: Your male vocalist sing in this annoying high pitch voice that sounds like girls. Metalcore: You do realize that Metal isn't about vocals, right? Oh, that's right, only a poser listens to music for the vocals. Death Metal: Really? I'm not the one with poser Hard Rock bands claiming to be Metal. Metalcore: You still cannot denie I AM METAL. Nu Metal: *Places hand on Metalcore's shoulder* Just let it go man, he thinks he's the alpha male. Death Metal: I prefer the term alpha METAL. Nu Metal: *Facepalm* Metalcore: It still doesn't prove I'm not Metal poser, Your female vocalist sound like men! MEN! Death Metal: isn't it lovely? Death Metal/Metalcore: *hurls death threats and insults at each other* Speed Metal: Both of you are too slow, c'mon! FIGHT! Thrash Metal: *Grabs popcorn and chants* FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! White Metal: Aww, seriously? Can't you just learn to forgive each other? Black Metal: Be quiet church boy. White Metal: I WILL NOT! Nu Metal: Amazing, I can combine two completely different genres without a problem, but you morons can't even get along with your own family with the same roots... Black Metal: *Sets the building on fire and everyone runs out*
  8. Red and Dead Poetic are the first that comes to mind. =)
  9. I can see where you're coming from, but think about it; if a person simply calls themselves Christians just because tthey are taught that way, and do not actually know what they believe, but just repeat what they are told, doesn't that sound llike brainwashing?
  10. I have to agree =) LOL! XD Oh you guys..
  11. <3Led Zeppelin <3
  12. (Taken from this blog post: http://dearopinionphobes.blogspot.com/2015/07/are-christians-brainwashed.html ) Most Christians who have argued with someone on a topic whether it be homosexuality, abortion, evolution or any other subject chances are they have been accused of being a "brainwashed Christian" which according to the accuser, is logic enough for the Christian's standpoint is to be ignored, but are these accusations true? The logic behind this reasoning is that most Christians believe in Hell and eternal punishment unless they accept Jesus as their Savior, not question the Bible or to ignore science completely. Which does sound like brainwashing if you look at it in that perspective, but are these accusations really true? The answers is this: Yes, there are some who are Christians who are "brainwashed" who simply believe in what they do just because that is what they are taught. But it doesn't mean Christians alone are brainwashed. Atheists can be brainwashed by their own fear tactics. For example, what does an Atheist believe in? They believe there is no God or supreme being. Many Atheist I have met consider the belief of God "Illogical". Since they cannot see God, they believe he cannot exist; answered prayers are coincidence, miracles can supposedly be explained through Science eventually, and anyone who believes in God are living in a delusion. Wouldn't that have an effect on their children and those around them? It gives the impression that belief in God is ignorant, and to think a person have encountered God is a delusion. Isn't that technically brainwashing? The fear of being ignorant if you believe in a supreme being or a spiritual realm? Both sides are guilty But how can a Christian break free of the " brainwashed" Christian mindset? Know what you believe: Read the Bible and find the truth. If you are constantly saying "I believe that things should be this way, just because I was taught this in church" you might want to reevaluate your views. I encourage Christian's to be willing to research Science, after all, the definition of Science (according to the Oxford Dictionary) is : "the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment." Shouldn't we as Christians look at the world around us and find the truth that God really does exist? I believe we can. 2 Timothy 4:1-4 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. Romans 1:19-20 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse
  13. Yep, that's it =P sorry folks
  14. Sorry, I'm terrible at writing.. What I was trying to say is: whenever someone reads Romans10:17 it's common to for them to assume that if we read the Bible we should be able to have complete faith in God, but when that person reads the Bible they may feel encouraged, but they are still struggling with their faith. What I was saying is we have to put action to words, do more than just read them, we have to hear them. Then that's when we can begin to gain faith.
