  1. Hello all, I'm gonna leave this site I think. I came here to be in a healthy Christian environment but a lot of people (not all, but a lot) on here are hypocritical and always bashing on "emotional" posts (even when some of them have made plenty of their own). This post is probably gonna get bashed too, but it doesn't matter cuz I'm leaving. Anyway, bye to those of you who I've spoken to and have become friends with! :3 Have a good life! <3

The forum *is* the members though. The debate section has always been a place where you need a tough skin and a reasonable head on you or things don't go that well. If that's not an environment she likes to have within a community, whether she wishes to participate or not, then that is up to her :) CTF can't be all things to all people, but hopefully she got something out of her time here x

Bryce let's just let it go, I don't see the point in trying to argue with you.

Should same sex marriage be legal?

I suppose I rest my case, though, because I thought this forum was about the moral side of it.
  3. JazzyBeans14

Should same sex marriage be legal?

What I'm saying is that I believe the Bible is truth and if the Bible says it is wrong than it is wrong (at least that's what I believe as a Christian). If murder is wrong, don't you think it should stay illegal? The Bible states that homosexuality is wrong. But I suppose making it illegal wouldn't stop homosexuals, so I guess there really wouldn't be a point in keeping it illegal. This is basically what I'm saying; I believe it is morally wrong because the Bible, or the word of God (our creator whether people believe it or not), says so but there is really no point in keeping it illegal because it wouldn't solve anything.

Should same sex marriage be legal?

No, it was about both. Basically what you said before, I believe immoral concepts should be illegal.
  5. JazzyBeans14

Should same sex marriage be legal?

These two statements basically sum it up. What I meant anyway.
  6. JazzyBeans14

Should same sex marriage be legal?

Well, my previous post is why I think it should be illegal. There you go. Basically what Bryce said.
  7. JazzyBeans14

Should same sex marriage be legal?

-"For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error" (Romans 1:26–27) -"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." (Leviticus 18:22) -"Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you." (Leviticus 18:24, referencing verse 22 along with other verses) This is honestly all I have to say because you can't argue with the bible, so, yeah. Good day. (:

    Really?

No, no it's okay. I should probably be more forgiving of him anyway. Honestly it would be better for me if I didn't think about it but it's hard. Thanks for the advice.
  9. JazzyBeans14

    Really?

Oh and also, I wasn't mad he didn't return the feelings. In fact, it was when I was nearly over him that he searched out my friends from school and stared flirting with them. Like I said in the previous post he also (when he knew I liked him) almost went out with my best friend (which partially was my best friend's fault for flirting back with him). Anyway, I have forgiven him, but as I said before he's toxic and not good for me to be around.
  10. JazzyBeans14

    Really?

Yes, maybe so. But he's done other things that I haven't mentioned, I was just summarizing it to get down to the point. I assure you I wasn't rude to him or anything, so in reality I wasn't creating problems, I was just venting what I felt. Anyway, he's done other things, and the fact that he knew I had feelings for him and did different things to rub it in my face (such as almost going out with my best friend and leaving her in the dust like all the other girls). It partially is my fault, for liking that type of a guy in the first place. But the thing about it is is that he is toxic to be around and I've chosen to stay away, but he always weans his way back in because he loved attention. Oh, and by rebellious things I meant doing things he isn't supposed to be doing. And actually, as a Christian, I don't rebel. We should try not to, actually. Anywho, It wasn't even about the boy that was my problem it was about my mom. Thanks for the advice peeps.
  11. JazzyBeans14

    Really?

I'm so done with my mother right now. So, here's the story. I have to go to this guy's party (he used to be my friend). So I'm still a little upset with him and everything, but it's not like I'm gonna be rude to him because it's his birthday. So she's all getting mad at me and saying "You need to forgive," and "You have a bad attitude." I forgot to mention that this boy is someone I've had a crush on for two years. During those two years, he has done absolutely NOTHING for me and I've done so much for him. We had an alright friendship regardless of that, but eventually he pushed it too far. When I was starting to get over my crush for him, he went onto my Instagram and SEARCHED OUT some of my friends from school and started flirting with him, even when he had a girlfriend at the time. He flirts with every girl, he is a total player, and he gets bored with girls really quick and dumps them for a new one. So he was a "Christian" and he was doing a whole bunch of rebellious things. So basically, the point of all this i that I'm a really good kid, a "goody-goody" you could call it. Then my mom goes off at me for little stupid things I do wrong. Like I could be taking DRUGS and you're getting mad at me over not forgiving someone? Stupid. I don't know what do you guys think?
