  1. I've been slowly turning towards God, but it's...honestly hard. For the longest time, I only depended on myself and my family - mostly myself, however, to deal with my problems. Prayer used to cause me extreme anxiety because of my OCD (trying to make an entire prayer in one breath, making it perfect, ect), but I'm trying to overcome that. Thank you for your words of wisdom, Davida.
  2. Absolutely. Was sick for a long time the beginning of this winter in the United States. My job required I work outside nearly everyday I had a shift. Have you ever gone to an actual cinema/movie theatre to watch a movie?
  3. What do you play games on? | A PC. I've had it for a couple years now, and it hasn't aged too badly. Where do you get your games? | Steam, almost entirely. I own some games on Origin that were free for a time because of their 'On the house' deals. I can't actually buy physical copies of video games anymore, simply because my computer (pre-built) came without a disk drive. Steam also has great deals, and I usually won't buy a game unless it's on sale. Mass Effect Andromeda might be break that trend for me, though. What is your favorite game genre | Strategy and RPGs are my cup-of-tea. I dip into other games, but those are my preferred genres. Name one or more of your favorite games!| Uhh. Guild Wars 1 and Guild Wars 2 are some of my favorites. They're MMORPGS, but still fantasy/RPG. Endless Legends is a very interesting blend of both fantasy and strategy. Europa Universalis 4 is a very good game, in my opinion. It's got a difficult learning curve, however, as does Crusader Kings II. Excited about any upcoming games? | Mass Effect: Andromeda. How often do you play? | Everyday, but the timeframe varies. Between a part-time job and college, sometimes I don't have long to play.
  4. I'm praying so. Mental health issues, OCD and Anxiety, make keeping my 'bud' healthy, but I'm trying my best.
  5. I think - and this is just me personally - that we should focus on ensuring there are people in power that won't play the political games that cost hundreds of thousands of lives.
  6. Hey, everyone. This isn't a story I share often, but this is how I found my way back to God. I suffer from mental health diseases such as OCD and Anxiety, which both contribute to insomnia. I'm afraid to go to bed because I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep. It's...rather ridiculous, but it it feeds back into itself. The anxiety keeps me up, so I can't sleep..which causes anxiety. It simply feed back into itself, and you get the picture. For a along time, I was at..quiet odds with God and his faith, Before that, I was an Atheist (in High School). My rebellious phase was against the one Being who loved me, at all times, despite my multiple failures. I'm deeply ashamed now, but I'm working each day to restrengthen my faith and improve my relationship with God. It's a struggle, but through that struggle I refound the purpose and drive in my life. The reason I live, and the One who gives me the drive I have to do well to others. I regret, from High School, to falling victim to those who preyed on me while I was weak and insecure. I had, always since graduation (and even during the Senior year) retained a sense of Agnosticism. But, through my conditions and pain, I began to seek out God once again to forgive my sins and to welcome my back into the family I once felt..so..warm in. The way I described it in my conversation with my girlfriend was that a bud had been planted in my chest, Talking, reading, and discussion of Scripture and God fed and watered the seedling, Each day, I work to strengthen my faith to keep my 'seedling' from wilting. I apologise for grammar and spelling mistakes. This is being written and sent late at night. I welcome all questions or concerns that you may have. -Love, Brad
  7. Is it only for Android? I have an IPhone and I'd be interested in this.
  8. Cold water Cold or hot weather?
  9. Yeah - did the dishes earlier today. In the last 24 hours, have you sang a song?
  10. Thanks for the advice, Mandy.
  11. Hey, thanks! I've noticed the age range tending to be a bit higher, but that's alright - certainly I'm one of the old geezers.
  12. It's really great to be here! My name is Brady, but I often go by 'Brad'. I'm a 21 year old -- born in 1995 -- college student currently studying under the umbrella program called 'Natural Resources'. I have a strong passion for reading and writing, something I've always enjoyed dating back to the fourth grade. I also have a blossoming passion for teaching and the wild, something I wish I could study for; so I made a compromise in studying Environmental Education. I was born and raised Lutheran, but had a falling out with my Faith in High School. Since then, I've had a distant relationship with it, and with some mental health problems, I thought it'd be good to try and get involved and connected to a healthy, Christian community. As far as denominations go, I've rather open to all of them - Lutheran is just the one I'm most familiar with. I found this forum on this link. A few of the posted websites were outdated/offline, so I was rather grateful to have found this one. http://accreditedonlinebiblecolleges.org/2010/top-50-christian-forums-on-the-web/
