    The Anniversary

    I am not really sure what to ask you to pray for...but just pray I guess...? On this day in 2009, my eldest brother passed away. He was disabled from birth. He could never walk or talk. He was 15 going on 16. His brain began to grow into his spinal cord, and it made him weak enough he certainly could not get through swine flu, which most of us consider God being merciful on him so he did not suffer everything. Just pray, for my family, him, whatever. His name is Jarrod.

    Masurbation is a sin.

    This is to all members who are struggling with masturbation and porn problems. I leave you the Word of God, which is complete, which stands alone in Its Truth, which is enough to give wisdom for the salvation of the Soul, which is the light of our path. I've been freed from both masturbation and porn addiction over 2 years ago. God is Almighty. God bless you. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Gal 5:16 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. James 1:14-15 Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. 1 Peter 2:11 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 Cor 6:19-20 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Eph 5:3 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. Rom 13:14 Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. 2 Cor 7:1 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Mat. 5:28
  3. My father told me the other day of a possibility of the government forming a One-World-Government in the near future. Out of this, he said they were planning to reduce the world's population to about 150 Million or something along the lines I don't recall the exact number. But my father said that they would do this at a time where there would be a Bird Flu scare and people would have to get the shot (sort of like what happened last year with the H1N1 Flu). This way, when people would be immunized they would also be secretly given a chemical that would attack the immune system and would eventually end in death. Is this a possibility? Should I be scared, because I am soon to enter health care and I'm afraid if I don't take that immunization or whatever it is I would be out of a job. Scary thought I know. Now let's hear all yours on this.
  4. I’m curious to see what people’s opinion are on this issue. For what reason, if any, is salvation no longer offered after death? Is it possible to be 'saved' post-death, before God on 'Judgment Day', in hell, etc? Why or why not, and if not, why the seemingly arbitrary cut-off point? I know this will probably turn into a debate, especially since I'll probably ask pointed questions to stimulate discussion, so that's why it's here in the debates. Begin.
  5. It's a topic I brought up in the chatbox just out of jest, but some people took the topic seriously and started debating. Figured I'd make it public for others to voice their opinions: When Jesus was in the tomb, did His body rot/decay? Did God preserve His body, or just reverse the necrosis during the resurrection?
  6. The man who dragged Buddy the dog to death behind his truck at Colorado National Monument last December was sentenced on July 30 to the maximum prison sentence of three years, according to http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_15645246. (The Denver Post) For the more than 260,000 people, including Care2 supporters, who have signed petitions demanding justice for Buddy, there is some relief that Buddy's death has not gone unnoticed. On charges of aggravated animal cruelty, Steven Clay Romero was sentenced to three years in federal prison and once he's out, 12 months on supervised probation. He will also have to pay $500 in fines and $343 in restitution to Buddy's owners. Death by dragging? It turns out that Romero did not act alone. Officials say that his sister, Melissa Lockhart, is also facing charges in Buddy's death. The dog belonged to Sacha and Joe Leber of Delta, CO. "Buddy was the most kind, gentle, respectful dog, especially with our children," said Leber. On December 29, 2009, Lockhart stole the dog from the back of the Lebers' pickup, while they were eating at a restaurant, and gave Buddy to her brother to destroy. Lockhart's story is that the dog had killed her cat. She is charged as an accessory after the fact to aggravated animal cruelty, and her case is pending. Has justice been served? In spite of the length of this sentence, many will question whether three years in prison is really enough for a man who tied a rope around the neck of the German shepherd mix dog and dragged him through the snow behind his truck until the animal was dead. Dog taped to fridge? Also on July 30 in Colorado, http://www.dailycamera.com/ci_15640830?source=most_viewed (Abby Toll), who bound and taped her boyfriend's 11-pound puppy to the side of a fridge last year, left the Boulder County Jail early. Toll had been sentenced to 30 days of jail time, but got out 10 days early for "going to classes at jail and staying out of trouble." The 21-year-old was arrested last year when police said she bound the dog, Rex, with hair ties and packing tape and stuck him upside-down to a fridge in her boyfriend's apartment. What do you think? Has justice been served in these two cases? (Original article can be found here: http://www.care2.com/causes/animal-welfare/blog/dog-killer-gets-maximum-prison-sentence/ Okay... This just ticks me off. I say, what they should do... Is they should take the little brainless scumbag of human flesh, and they should tie HIM to the back of an old pickup, and drag HIM down on the concrete... See how HE likes it. Same goes that girl, too... Tie her to a fridge and torture her. That's what they deserve. Their jail time was too short... To me. That dog should not have have died because some piece of scum dragged him down down the friggin' CONCRETE!!! UGH! WHEN WILL PEOPLE EVER CHANGE?!?! WAIT. I KNOW THE ANSWER... THEY NEVER WILL...!!! Because they are HUMANS. =D And Humans refuse to change their ways. The most of them. anyway... No man or woman in jail should get released, no matter the crime they committed. They should all rot in their cells. Half those murderous people don't have a heart anyway, and will continue their crimes even if they receive gruesome punishment. It's like the only thing that will make stop is the Electric Chair. 100,000 volts of pure electronic pain... *Sigh* It almost makes me sad... :\ R.I.P. Buddy... ;_;
