    • That God created the earth through the Big Bang. (theistic evolution view)

God is not a liar. He is as equally author of creation as he is scripture; creation suggests an old world and the Big Bang.

Miraculous events do not follow man's understanding of science. Jesus walked on water, which suggests that the mass of a human is less than the tension of a body of water, yet we don't seem to have any issues with that miracle. Jesus raised the dead, yet we all accept the death as being something one can't return from in normal circumstance.

Just because our understanding of creation suggests old world and big bang does not make God a liar, in fact it's completely consistent with other miracles we see: a disregard for the normal scientific, natural and biological placement of our world.

"All truth is God's truth" is such a marvelously Biblical way of thinking.

On another note, would anyone mind if we moved this to the Christian debate room?

Gahh. I really didn't want to pull this off topic. Sorry everyone! maybe you could split off posts starting with mine and move them to one of the other (way too many) debates?
