Possible tumor

Long story short: went to the optometrist 3-4 weeks ago, she noticed very abnormal pressure on the optic nerve in my right eye. It could be the way I was born, could be a tumor. She recommended a neurologist about three hours away. Will be seeing him on the 24th. What caused me to see the optometrist in the first place was terrible headaches, which I've been getting more and more often. Some days I have to lie in the dark and not open my eyes.

Update: saw the neurologist 2 days ago. After three hours' worth of tests, it's been determined that the optic nerve is definitely being pushed outward into the back of my eye. Basically, I know what I already knew.

The neurologist scheduled me for an ultrasound of the eye and an MRI for December 5th.

The suspense continues. #frustrated

Sorry you're going through this man, O had cancer this January, just had to take the tumor out and no chemo, I have monthly check up though I case it does come back bit the doctors don't think it will, stay strong I know how scary it can be

Everyone around me is freaking out about it, but I'm....not. *shrug* It's not denial and it's not trying to put up a front. I'm just indifferent, at least until I get results. But even then.... *more shrugging* Idunno. Weird feeling.
