curryjacket Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 So, my grandfather was laid off today from the job he's held for years.... I don't even know how long. Since the '70s, I believe. He was two years from retirement and was not given a reason. This is a man who treats everyone great-- he's one of the nicest, smartest people you could ever meet. And no, that's not bias. He went to work every. single. day. I suspect they didn't want to pay retirement and that really sucks. Luckily their cars and house are paid for (they are uber responsible with money) but still.
