Old Testament

I'm nearly done with reading the New Testament and it would be appropriate to read the Old Testament as well. I feel that it's quite a big thing though, I'm not very into reading and have trouble concentrating, and audio books don't work well for me because I lose focus and forget to listen and get no context. What parts of the Old Testament would you recommend that I start reading (which are more important)? I'm guessing that it would be alright for me to read the books in whichever order. Thank you in advance.

I would honestly start in Genesis. It may be helpful to read a psalm or proverb each day along with your daily reading.

Find a dramatized audio  Bible. They tend to have voice actors and music that matches scenes. Also, in order to be complete, read what you wish, but accomany it with one of the drier parts of the pentateuch. Dont leave numbers for last!

Thank you both for the input! I'm going to look up the books and make some sort of plan of what to prioritize and when to read them. And I looked up dramatized reading and it seems great! I didn't even know that there was such a thing. I'm pretty sure I'll find it easier to stay focused.  :D

Numbers is more exciting than Joshua, in my opinion. And Leviticus is a gold mine.

Great, thanks!
