But of course, he knows he's lying. He's admitted to lying, and using the ignorance of the average person to evangelize, something I find throughly dishonest.

Isn't lying a sin? So isn't he distancing himself from God by his consistent dishonesty with the vast majority of his readers?

I disagree with his attacking a strawman and saying that he's refuting evolution. He's admitted that he's not really refuting the actual theory of evolution but rather the "street definition". I find this rather dishonest.

I disagree with his redefining the word atheism from "a lack of belief in God or gods" to "the belief something came from nothing" and again attacking a strawman and patting himself on the back for it.

I disagree with his borderline offensive way of talking with the atheists on his blog, his tendency to reply to long, thought out questions with a single line of condescending snark, and his recycling of arguments, even after they've been explained or refuted.

What do you agree with Ray Comfort about, if you don't mind my asking? Just curious.

And it is a bit of a shame there are many weird doctrines... which is not new for me. (I'm dealing with them even where I live).

But hey, this is a chance for me to show the truth and correct mistakes with the help of God.
Now, I wont exempt myself because I too have made some mistakes of my own including erroneous interpretations and a few mistakes here and there.
But I don't refuse to accept being corrected when I see I am wrong.

CTF never changes, but it's good to see you around again ^_^ I hope you're doing well.

As for the whole fundamentalist thing, I believe people should get in trouble for that. The issue is that the staff tends to be more liberal leaning when it comes to christian interpretation, so they do not catch these things. If you were upset by a post, I would recommend PMing a mod and explaining them how you feel. Perhaps ask them to keep a closer eye or post a warning about the things. It honestly is not far that people can bash others on CTF, and hopefully the staff can do something about it.
