I'm turning 21 in January, I've just recommitted myself to God, and I just came out of a serious relationship. My ex is still bothering me and telling me I'm making a mistake for breaking up with him for the reasons I did, but I'm trying to stay strong and keep the faith and joy that God has shown me. I would love to meet my other half and spend my life with that person forever, but I just want to focus on what's going in my life now, I want to be single for a long while and find myself so I can be the person that God's building me to be. It was the hardest decision ever leaving my ex, and sometimes I still fall, and want to run back to him and I did a couple times, but It never felt the same, and I could always hear/feel God calling me, I couldn't feel the same anymore with him (my ex), and I never wanted to do the same things, it all felt weird. So I know where I should be, and this is where I want to be. I still really really love my ex, and I pray for him almost everyday! I pray he will join me on the right side oneday, and I wish we could be together oneday.

I selected "other." I think some of the choices are a bit unrealistic, like finding your other half that will be with you for the rest of your life at this young age. Once I'm older, I think I'll be able to find that. As of right now, as much as I hate to admit it, there will probably be break-ups. It's just that relationships at this age (or most of them, at least) don't last. I'm praying that I would find that person now who will stick with me so I wouldn't have to suffer the pain of break-ups or wait longer for such a guy.
