Would you ask a guy if he was a virgin?

I think it's a great idea. I'm not ashamed to say I'm still a virgin, so I don't mind being asked. I've always asked the guys I've dated, cause I'm just curious like that. Therefore they have every right to know if I am. If I was a guy, I wouldn't want to date a girl who's been with other guys. I just try to put myself in other peoples' shoes for situations like this. So, no, I don't have a problem asking or being asked.

If it comes up in conversation it's fine, but to just ask someone...no way! I wouldn't ever just ask.

I've asked before. Of guys and girls. But only when the topic as nearing that subject, or if it was already there.
Obviously I wouldn't walk up to a person and just randomly ask them. But if someone asked me, I would return the question.

ive been thinking about this lately.
I would be sooo uncomfortable asking a guy this, but i know im eventually gonna have to. I WONT get into a serious relationship without knowing whether or not it is gonna be able to end in marrige. And if he's not a virgin, i wont marry him.

but i think that if i really believe that he is the one for me, then he's prolly a good, godly guy, and it will prolly go without saying that he's a virgin. im still gonna have to ask tho

I'd answer, I have no problem with it. My current bf and I actually had a conversation about that a few months before we started going out. I didn't ask, but I'm reassured that he told me he was a virgin. That makes me feel special, and makes me respect his sexuality and purity a lot.

I don't think it's a problem if you are planning on marrying the guy. What buisness do you have asking a guy that you aren't marrying about if he's a virigin. It seems to me if the person is a virgin you may know and if the person has slept around, if they are like the people at my school, they are always talking about it, so I would think it is possible to not even have to ask.

I think it is a very nescessary question for someone you dating or may soon be dating. I personally would prefer to date a virgin because I would feel less pressure to have sex with that person.
