I was wondering about this. When i see a cute person walking across the street or something i believe that i can see them as beautiful and say to myself "They sure are cute" without having sexual thoughts, or even getting close to sexual thoughts. I was wondering if you guys believe you can do the same or even believe that its possible.
Simple as that can you see someone as beautiful and not lust?

Yes, it's possible. It happened to me just this summer.
There was a new girl on the summer camp staff and she is just the cutest little thing. She's too cute to even think about sexually.

Very much so. I would say a majority of the girls I know I would say are beautiful, and that doesn't mean I'm attracted to all of them.

Yes, a perfect example would be when a heterosexual person sees beauty in a person of the same sex, but is not attracted to him or her. The same for a homosexual person who sees beauty in someone of the opposite sex but, again, is not attracted.

oh yeah, to make myself more open and outgoing, I tell every girl I talk to whom I think is a beautiful child of God, that she's a beautiful child of God. lol
maybe not be the best way but I don't have to lust over them.

Well, for me, if I lust over them I don't recognise their beauty.
