The Official 2009 Christmas Ball Apparel and Escorts Thread

This thread will probably be moved to the Holidays and Event Forum eventually, but that's fine. I figured it would get more attention here then it would there until it does get moved.

Ok then, ladies and gentlemen, it's that time of year again. This year, the theme is a little interesting. Oddly enough, we're going for a Star Wars/Pride and Prejudice idea since both themes were tied in the poll. For those who wish to go dressed in Star Wars inspired apparel, feel free to do so. The same goes for those who wish to dress in attire similar to the style of Pride and Prejudice.

For those of you who have never done this before, the Christmas Ball is an event that has taken place on CTF since 2005. It's a roleplay game that begins on the 1st of December through the 25th. That way, those who are busy during Christmas will have time to participate. So, you won't have to worry about missing anything, unless of course you're busy throughout the entire month of December. If so, sorry we missed you and hopefully you can make it next year.

This specific thread, as titled, is for choosing outfits and finding an escort. Once you've found an escort, please let me know and I will modify the Escort List as it changes. That way, everyone knows who's going with who. It keeps things less confusing. Feel free to post your outfit suggestions or choices here as you wish to share with your friends. That's precisely what this thread is for.

Also, though part of this theme is inspired by Star Wars it does not mean you will be engaging in lightsaber duels or pod races in the RP. This is strictly what it is: a Christmas Ball. Dancing, socializing and civilized merry making is mandatory. If you find it boring, no offense, but you really don't have to attend. All the theme means is that it inspires your outfits and some of the "decorations", that's all.
