I like Obama alot, I was just upset that our troops are still in Iraq. But now I understand that if we just pull them out, it will be not long before their over here blowing something else up. Well If you were preisident, what would you do in a 4 yr spand.

I live in the Dominican Republic, and basically these are the changes I'd do if I was president:

-Suspend the Constitution, abolish the Congress, and change the nation's name
-Eliminate (or fusion) unneeded secretaries of State and reforming the ones that are left
-Reduce taxes on oil derivatives
-Reduce government expenditures in unneeded stuff (such as people getting paid by NOT working, or exaggerated wages in other cases)
-Elaborate a new Constitution and reestablish the Congress (with people chosen by me)
-Call for elections (both Congressional and Presidential) 7 years and a half after these changes are made

Yeah, I don't believe in Democracy.

1. If I were President, I for one, would cut back on the amount of advisors that a normal pres has.
2. prior to being elected, I would take the current budget and make the adjustments that I would see fit, and give it to the public prior to election.
3. I would strive to cut back the military funding by about 1/3 but at the same time, try to do away with any bureacracy within the military that wastes money.
4.I would strive for term limits and overall power limits to all 3 branches of the gov.
5. I would strive for an amendment that would basically remove the right to declare war unless war was needed to defend a treaty-protected country like Japan; unless it were a dire circumstance like those of World War I or II, or in the case of self defense.
6. I would go for harsher punishments for murderers and rapists
7. I would fight to make the states more powerful than what they are.
8. I would cut back on welfare relief type aid.
9. I would instate a silver-standard to protect the value of the dollar
10. I would push for shoot-on-site laws concerning gangs in larger cities with the hope that by eradicating such a disease, that people who live in the slums would be willing to work harder for a better life.

5.) Make an official Separation of Church and State ammendment to the Constitution
6.) Set up a single-payer healthcare system that would cover all necessary procedures for all citizens
7.) Abolish as much censorship as possible by allowing banned media (books, films, etc) in addition to protecting everyone`s 1st Amendment right to free speech unless it was an explicit threat.
8.) Lower the age of majority to 16, though under permission of parents, marriages of people 13 or older would be allowed.
9.) Make private gun ownership illegal, only allowing the military and police force to carry weapons
10.) If a married couple divorces, there would be equally shared custody of the children unless one of the parents was abusive.
11.) The age of employment would be lowered to 13.
12.) Mandatory schooling would extend to the 8th grade. Optional highschool would be provided both in the public school system and private. It would be encouraged but not enforced to attend.
13.) The Theory of Evolution would be taught in all public schools. I would also include a world religions class as part of the curriculum. Private schools may teach as they please on this issue.
14.) All homeschooling parents must undergo background checks.

Oh, gurl.

1.) Open more foreign military bases. The world is a dangerous place, and the only thing that is keeping third-world countries from collapsing into devastating civil war is the shining face of American Military occupancy.

2.) Start more wars. Everyone knows that the best defense is a good offense, so the most productive thing we can do in terms of homeland security is take the initiative and bomb the pants off of anyone who looks at us the wrong way.

3.) Legalize abortion in all 50 states. Woman's body, woman's choice. Nobody wants a rape baby.

4.) Enact the death penalty for all crimes. Too much time and money is spent maintaining prisons and lengthy criminal trials. If we systematically kill off any law-breakers, we'll find the law being broken much less often.

5.) Disbar current governmental policies and officially conjoin the Church and State. Politicians argue too much and never get anything done. As President, I'd make the Pope my right hand man. Nobody messes with the Pope.

6.) End any and all healthcare plans. If you're hurt, rub some dirt in it and get back into the game.

7.) Censor more media. Big Brother is watching, and it's for your own good.

8.) Raise the legal adult age to 45. It's quite clear that anyone under that age makes foolish decisions, and should be under the careful scrutiny of their parents until they're mature enough.

9.) Give every child a gun on their 10th birthday. If only the military is allowed to have guns, the people will fear military power and begin to resent their government. Train them young, and if we're lucky, we'll save billions on military spending due to an incredibly strong militia.

10.) Enforce strict punishment for divorces. Come on, people... keep it together for the kids.

11.) The age of employment would be lowered to 6. If you can't figure out how to make a shoe by kindergarten, you might as well be deported.

12.) Student will stay in school until they're good and ready to graduate. The final say on whether a student can graduate will be held by yours truly; the process will involve a face-to-face personal interview, presentation of professional portfolio, and rigorous academic exam, also monitored by me.

13.) The Theory of Dance Dance Revolution would be part of required curriculum in all schools, public and Private.

14.) All homeschooling parents must get a real job and enroll their children in real schools.

i dont get why people harp on obama all the time. i understand about the troops and stuff but people blame the economy on him. we this bad bad of an economy when bush was president.
