New Rp....maybe....

So I was just thinking since the Rp thread seems to be dieing. That maybe if I started a new Rp...we could get something going. It's not going to be a super duper serious Rp where everyone has to be involved to know what the heck is going on. It also isn't going to go really fast, because obviously a lot of people don't really have as much time as they used to. XD So I have a few ideas, their kind of lame right now, but they can become great with good characters, and peole willing to play.

1. So this has been done a lot, but I was thinking like a fantasy school. Where all mystical creatures/princes and princesses go. I always thought those were cool and it has a place for everyone. To keep it going we could have like a competition between schools like good vs. evil. We could also have a huge inner school competition that everyone is preparing for. Like when kinghts used to fight for the princesses hand...it wouldn't be exaclty for that (unless that would make it better, we could make it not necessarily for marriage, but a ball or something.)

2. This one is fantasy also, but it's more like Narnia. Where the mystical creatures get pushed out of power by humans, or some other unrelenting force, and have to be part of a rebellion to get back their lives. It's always fun to have a rebellion try to win their freedom.

3. Would be similar to the second option, but it isn't mythical creatures, it's just normal humans fighting for some cause. It could be for freedom of their small village, or of their whole area. From an evil tyrant, or just a normal king/queen.

Those are just some idea, added ideas are welcome (something off of these lines preffurably), but it you are interested just say something. I really just wanted to get an Rp going....

Yay! Roleplays! Sounds good to me, even though I would like something quick paced! I like the fantasy idea, but maybe we could do kind of the second one with vampires, werewolves, faeries, zombies, etc. I don't really care much for Narnia type fantasy.

For the first one, what about the idea of reviving Enchanted Academy? I liked that one. Unfortunately it died right as Imojen got her crown at the ball and none of the other girls got theirs.

What about something similar, but Asian-themed, like rival martial arts schools in a fantasy 'verse similar to Avatar: The Last Airbender? There'd still be dragons, but they'd be Chinese style instead of European style. Samurai instead of knights, and so on...

Maybe a fantasy Cowboys-and-Indians* where the cowboys have steampunk gadgets and airships and the Indians ride dinosaurs? I dunno, just trying to think of something different.

*We had a more realistic(tm) Cowboys and Indians game called HOW-dy here awhile ago, which I thought was awesome. Maybe we could do something like that again.

I wasn't in HOWdy, but I love this idea! I had actually considered getting a game started that was basicly a 'western with dragons' type of bit. I was thinking of keeping it minimal steampunk, but I mean hey, if you have large, carnivorous beasts running around it makes sense. Hmmm Maybe I'll send you a PM and we can collaborate... mabeh. (iz busy.... darn college)

Enchanted Academy was fun! I'd be willing to do a revival, but at the same time a new game always has that... you know... sparkle *jazz hands* that a revival usually doesn't garner. For me, its all going to depend on how its done. I need a good roleplay though.... I actually considered starting one focusing on the cats of hogwarts students... this is when you know your muse is out of shape.

I loved HOW-dy! That was my first Rp.....so the whole Cowboys Indian thing is really cool.

See if we did Enchanted Academy sorta thing, I would think we should restart it. Everyone is able to use old characters if they wanted. (If we decide on that one) Plus we could add in new people (by the way! I would also like to welcome you Kwilly! XD)

The asian fantasy would be really cool! I've always thought that whole culture was really beautiful. I'm liking our ideas, if people just keep throwing them out there maybe we can get something going.
