Lol, there are plenty of fake Gospels out there. This is just another one of them.

It depends how you define "fake Gospel". I am fairly certain many other valuable Gospels were lost when the officially 73/66 books of the Bible were codified. To the best of my recollection, early Christians used the Shepard of Hermes and the Apocalypse of Peter as scripture.

"What is the Absolute? Something that appears to us in fleeting experiences--say, through the gentle smile of a beautiful woman, or even through the warm caring smile of a person who may otherwise seem ugly and rude. In such miraculous but extremely fragile moments, another dimension transpires through our reality. As such, the Absolute is easily corroded;it slips all too easily through our fingers and must be handled as carefully as a butterfly." - Slavoj Žižek

You're talking to a Catholic. It's very easy for me to believe that the 73 books of the bible are the official ones proclaimed by the Church and the others, while may be useful for cultural and other understanding, are not divinely inspired.

There are several things wrong with this that indicate a post-Muhammadian date. Even the Biblical prophecies of Jesus don't call Him by name. And it is contrary to every other gospel we've found, even the fake ones, for Jesus to deny His divinity. And it's also completely opposed to the views of Paul and the early disciples to go against Trinitarian principles. A total fake.
