goxfiles
oh that's another thing i can throw in. Main protagonist finds god through an unlikely string of events. this book will be the most cliche, meta as frack story ever. Okay... so if it's really cliché, then why would anyone read your book? What new does it have to offer?

Buoyancy
im working on characters thinking of having one of the supporting characters be a weird furry that gets off topic all the time sounds perfect. Maybe he forgets his ritalin all the time.

laurelnoelle
There are tons of teen romance novels out there, so I would suggest trying to be as creative as possible with yours. I'm always looking to improve my writing skills so I used to always look up other peoples' pet peeves when it came to novels. It gave me some great ideas personally so I would definitely suggest it! I don't have any specific ideas, but some important things to decide on I think are is this going to be a futuristic novel or one set in the present or past. Then decide on your characters and what makes them unique to characters from other novels. One big suggestion: Do not make the main character/main girl whiny or weak. Also decide on what you want the issue to be. Obviously the story you create first is going to be altered a lot once you start the writing process. You'll realize some events won't line up and others you can make better. Grab some paper and just scratch down some ideas, eventually, one will just feel "right". When you have an idea that even you want to know more about, then you have probably found the story, because if it interests you, it will interest the readers.
