I read somewhere that 96% of men have masturbated.... and the other 4% are probably lying! This applies to Christian guys too! I'm going through this as well. The most important thing is to start talking to someone about it. I told someone about it almost a year ago and even though i havent completely stopped, i am in a much better place than i was Just find someone older and wiser and be open. It will take a lot of effort from you AND faith in God, and it will always be something you'll have to deal with. The fact is When i masturbated this led to me not bothering with work, trying to develop my relationship with God and also giving my girlfriend the security and time she deserves. When i stopped for 3 months i just started doing these naturally. In my opinion, Masturbation is impossible without thinking of girls in a sexual way which is unhealthy. what your doing when you ejaculate is simulating sex and for that you need to imagine sex and Jesus did say you are not to even think of having sex with a woman who is not your wife because that would be adultery.

imagine how long you'll be able to have sex with her after marriage and then 7 months will seem short

I've been to Romania several times and its great. We run a kids club and all the kids in the town come (around 200 everyday) and now my church has been about 5 times in the past 10 years everyone in the town knows who we are and what we're going to do. Im going again this summer so im starting to save again!!! For finding mission work, i suggest looking for churches who do mission trips. You might not even need to go abroad. I'm going through the same thing my friend. but today i made the first step. i told my girlfriend about my addiction and also arranged to meet up with an older, respected mentor and dropped a hint it was about this. The problem normally isn't the masturbation. Thats normally the symptom of a problem. I have realised that this my problem is self hate. i dont/didnt love myself. this may have been started by bullying but idk it was a long time ago. but what you need to do is draw closer to God. be intimate. You cannot have a pure relationship while this happens. I've moved away from God so much. But now im coming back. I have hope. I have come back to the foot of the cross and laid my life down again. Today i have hope. But i now need to work hard and draw closer to God now so i can start to love myself. I pray you will reach the same place with God. Email me or whatever.

i was 14 when i started going out with my girlfriend. i could imagine myself staying with her for the rest of my life after 3 months, still with her now i think it depends who mature the people involved are. me and my girlfriend are both mature christians who have deep christian values so going out at 14 wasnt a big deal. she was 15 the next day

I've been struggling about this for a while. Reasons for joining the army. -There were lots of wars in biblical times which God accepted by telling prophets who was gonna win etc -Should defend your nation and the people you love. -It will end up helping people by protecting them from the "bad guys" Reasons against. - Jesus told us to love our enemy, i dont know how i could do that when im firing bullets at him - What happens if due to my actions christians are killed. wouldnt that be murder? - how is it showing Christ's love by killing people?

yes it is down to the individual but if its happening to lots of people than surely it is a problem. in my year at school there is a solid group of about 30-35 who are addicted, and i mean properly addicted, to Call of Duty. a game time of 10 days in 2 months is ridiculous! thats nearly 4 hours a day! that is just stupid. think of what the people are missing out on? i personally am trying to use my time more effectively due to this.

Do you think that some people are spending too much time on computer games?? i used to play on them all the time through the early teens. i think its ok then cos there isnt anything important school wise (well in the UK anyway) but when you get older i just dont find the time. and then i find out some people have been on Call of Duty World at War for a combined time of 8 days since xmas.... and it just makes me so despondent.... i dont want to be overdramatic but i believe this is another trap from the enemy to make us waste time and our lives what are your thoughts?

hello everyone i really need some advice right now as im going through a testing time and im really starting to worry about my future wiht my girlfriend. we've been going out for a year and 4 months and we are very serious about each other but we both know that we are still young (both 16) and that marriage is a few years away but we've run into a sticky situation. basically her parents now dont approve of our relationship due to the fact that it is too "serious". and i quote what she sent to me, they said... "[you're] too young to have a serious relationship and think he is not the one (you should get married to)." "my mum said shes embarrassed by me having a serious relationship." there is more but you get the idea... i just need help in how to make sure that i know she is the right person for me. i believe she is but i know im young and naive but i think God wants us to be together. also her parents apparently like me but dont like how my girlfriend is wasting time and opportunities. i really dont know what to do. i fasted today and i feel better but can anyone offer me practical advice rather than just pray...

i get angry at this aswell. everyone has just come to accept it and it is wrong. i think even some non christians believe there is too much nudity around.

well im 16 at the end of the month and ive been going out with my girlfriend for 1 year and 4 months. soooo i was 14 when i asked her out and she was 15. i think once we knew what we were both getting into it we commited to each other seriously. i believe that we can get married but obviously we wont be doing it anytime soon as we both want to go to college and university. but if we get through that then it proves we can last together forever. i feel that God placed her in my life when i needed her most. when i needed help and love and support. and i believe it is no coincidence that her name is Grace.
